教学思路：

一、Review the months and ordinal numbers. 1.Song: When is your birthday? 师生互动问答：When is your birthday? （several times，以一个学生生日为例）

T：Your birthday is in September. September is in autumn, so your birthday is in autumn.

2. How many seasons are there in a year? What are they? (根据学生回答教师板书在黑板上) How many months are there in a year? What are they? Can you tell me the abbreviation for the month? What special days are in every month? Talk about it in groups. (学生在小组中讨论交流，然后分组自由回答，教师板书，根据学生的回答教师有选择的提问) When is Christmas? It’s in December. T: December is in winter, so Christmas is in winter. T：Which season is December in？

S：It’s in winter. （板书December在winter后面的横线上。）

3.T: This is the calendar of June. (从1号开始)What’s the date? （依次让学生说出每天的日期表达，然后教师用ppt展示基数词变序数词的方法）

There is a special day in June,

that is your day. What special day is it? Ss: Children’s Day. T: Which season is June in? 引导学生说出It’s in summer. So Children’s Day is in summer. （把June写在summer的后面）

二、阅读短文，完成练习。

Now, look! There is a passage of seasons and months. Please read it silently and finish the exercises.(学生们拿出短文纸，默读内容，完成练习，然后订正：第一题的答案让学生板书在黑板相应季节的后面。) T: How many months are there in s year? What’s the first month in a year? Now let’s do exercise about numbers. (引出下一部分练习) 二、More practice. 1.基数词、序数词的用法填空。

2.in、on的用法。

(总结in和on的用法后，出示几个特别的节日，用两种句型练习回答。) （几个特别的节日问答练习后，ppt出示一张图片：孟子涵同学生日的照片）

The Seasons

There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. Each season has three months.

Spring is warm and sunny. Spring is the first season of the year. The spring months are March, April and May. The trees are green and flowers are beautiful. We can plant trees and run on the grass. Summer begins in June. Then come July and August. The weather is very hot, sometimes it rains. We like to swim in the swimming pool. And we can wear T-shirts and shorts. And we can eat ice creams.

Next come the autumn months: September, October and November. Autumn is a wonderful season. The weather is very cool. We can eat a lot of fruits. And the leaves are colorful.It is the time for harvest（收获）and the peasants（农民们）

are very busy.

Winter is the last season of the year. December, January and Febmary are the winter months, it is cold in winter. The days are short and the nights are long. In many places it snows. On New Year's Day, we wish each other a happy New Year.
