Unit3 Period2 Gu Dong is coming! 教学目标:1、通过学习任务,帮助学生巩固和运用本单元所学的知识。(I can see....... I can hear......) 2、借助图片阅读故事,并理解故事大意。在学习中让孩子们感知故事的趣味性,从而逐步喜欢阅读。
3、从故事中懂得简单的道理:不要人云亦云,要学会自己思考。
教学重点:1、复习巩固主要句型:What can you hear? I can hear...... What can you see? I can see...... 2、感知体会日常用语:Help! Don’t worry. 教学难点:Help! Don’t worry! 教材分析:本课时故事教学的内容对于孩子们来说不是很难,没有新的语言知
识点,生词也较少。主要通过阅读故事让孩子们进一步巩固本单元
的核心句型:What can you hear? I can hear......孩子们在故事学习中体会故事的趣味性,并从中懂得简单的道理。
学情分析:1、孩子们已储备的知识:(1)在第一课时已经学习了核心句型:What can you hear? I can hear......(2)在3A的学习中,孩子们已经会运用句型Its eyes are big.等来描写动物。2、三年级的孩子还处于爱动的年龄段,因此在教学活动的设计中动、静结合非常重要,以激发孩子们的学习兴趣为主。
教法与学法:1、利用多媒体课件或播放录音创设情境教学,使语言运用更真实自然。2、采用小组合作:读、演等方式互相学习、交流。3、运用TPR的活动吸引孩子们的注意力,激发孩子们的学习兴趣。
教学流程:
Warm-up 1、Sing a song (The Hokey Pokey) 2、Greeting T: Hello!Boys and girls. Show me your hands. Point to your eyes. Point to your ears...... Ss: Listen and do.
3、Ss look at the screen and read together: I can see with my eye. I can hear with my ear......... T: see 、hear、 smell 、touch、taste Five senses are very important. (设计意图:在课的开始阶段运用TPR的教学活动,既吸引了孩子们的注意力,同时也调动了孩子们已储备的知识,为本节课的学习做了很好的铺垫。) Presentations 1、T:What can you see?(CAI:Show a picture) S1: I can see a rabbit. T:Look! Yes,it is a rabbit.(T write it on the blackboard and put the picture on it.) Ss:Spell the rabbit. Say the sounds:/r/ /t/ T:Look at the rabbit.What’s it like? Ss: It is white. It is cute.Its eyes are...... (设计意图:引出故事的主要角色,并调动孩子们已学的知识来描写兔子,为后面做铺垫。) 2、T:a rabbit two rabbits three rabbits(Ss look and say with teacher) What are they doing? Let’s read a story:Gu Dong is coming. T:Listen to the story and number the pictures. Ss:Listen and number then check the answers.
(设计意图:在听音的过程中结合图片整体感悟故事内容,并在图片的帮助下理解故事大意。)
3、T:Look at picture 1:Are three rabbits happy?
Ss:No,they aren’t. They are ....... T: They are afraid. Ss:Learn the world:afraid T: What’s the matter? (Show the picture and point) T and Ss: One rabbit says: Listen! What can you hear? One rabbit says: I can hear “Gu Dong” T: Oh! They hear Gu Dong. They are afraid. And they run away. And they shout:Help! Help! Gu Dong is coming. T:Rabbits are very afraid. They shout........ Who can try? Ss:Read: Help! Help! Gu Dong is coming. (设计意图:通过图片及身体语言、读的表情和动作等让孩子们感悟体会help的意思。其次指导孩子们带着感情去读,更深的理解故事内容,体会兔子的害怕,也为故事结尾做好了悬殊铺垫,为提高故事的趣味性做好了埋笔。) 4、T:They run and shout.Look they meet...... Ss: monkey T:What do they say?
Ss: Look say and learn the word: monster
T:Monkey listens and says: a monster. Monkey is afraid too.It runs after the rabbits and shout...... Ss: Help! Help! Gu Dong is coming. T:Do actions and show the picture,oh they meet the fox.What do they say? Can you act? Ok! Look and act in your group.
Ss: Act in the group then show.
(设计意图:在上一个环节的铺垫中,将活动的主动权交给孩子们,放手让孩子们去演,进一步巩固加深核心句型,同时体会故事的趣味性。) T:You do very well.The rabbits、the monkey、the fox run away and shout...... Ss:Help! Help! Gu Dong is coming. T:They meet the elephant. Elephant:What’s Gu Dong? Ss: It’s a monster.Its eyes are green. Its mouth is big. Elephant: Really? T:Does the elephant run away? Read and tell me. Ss: Read and answer.
T:Boys and girls,what’s Gu Dong? Ss: Look and say.It’s ... T:It’s the sound when a papaya falls into the lake.(Draw on the blackboard) T:Oh! “Gu Dong”is a papaya.So the elephant says..... Ss: Don’t worry! 5、Ss look at the video:Gu Dong is coming. (设计意图:再一次观看故事动画片,加深印象,体会故事的趣味性,为下一个活动,表演故事做铺垫。)
6、Ss read the story in the group. (设计意图:让每个孩子参与到故事的阅读,同时检测孩子们的学习情况。) 7、Act the story in the group then show. (设计意图:让孩子们在表演中,加入自己的理解与表达,逐步培养孩子们的思维意识。) Consolidation T: In this story ,who do you like and why? Ss: Answers. T: What do we learn from the story? Ss: Ss say in Chinese. T: Right. Don’t follow the herd. (设计意图:通过故事的学习,让孩子们有自己简单的思考,从中懂得简单的道理。) 家庭作业:和爸爸、妈妈在家演一演这个故事或和同学们利用课余时间把故事排成小短剧表演出来。
