Let’s enjoy.呈现了有关课外活动的英文儿歌，进一步呈现核心句型和词汇在真实语境中的运用。

Let’s talk 和Let’s play呈现了学生参与课外活动的图片与情景，学习句型This is ....There is /are.....通过问答操练句型及词汇，并了解彼此的房间里有。

Letters 让学生认读字母及字母开头的单词。

1.Draw an outline of a room on the blackboard,with a door, a window and a bed. 2.Point to the room and say ‘This is my room. There is a door in my room.There is a window in my room. There is a bed in my room.’ Repeat for students to get familiar with the expression ‘There is ...’

1.Tell a story something like this:

May is in her room with Ann.Hello,May. What are you doing? Hello. I am playing with Ann. Ann is my good friend and we like to play and study together. We are in the room. We are reading one of our favourite stories.Look,there is a bed,a window and a door.What else can you see in my room? 2.Invite more students make some sentences.This is a ...There is /are ....Listen to he tape for the text.Students listen and follow in the books 3.Stick the picture cards for window,door,bed,room,sofa,table and lamp on the board and ask What do you have in your room? Do a survey and see which items are the most common.

Post-task activities Invite pairs of students play the dialogue to the class.

While-procedures：

1.Stick the picture for window,door and room on the board and ask Open/Close/Clean the ...,please.?Do the survey and see which is the most popular activity. 2.Play the word cards under the corresponding pictures.Then remove the pictures and read the words with whole class. 3.Open the students book to page 12.Listen to the tape.Ask students point to the pictures and read the words.

P re-task preparations ：

1.Review the names of the vocabulary items taught in the previous class.Stick the word cards on the blackboard.Ask the students ‘ what is this ?’Ss: ‘It is ...’

2.Read the word on the board together. 3.Revise ‘in’, ‘on’ and ‘under’ with the students.

While-procedures：

1.Put up the wallchart for page 15.Say we are going to tell a story.

2.Show pictures 1 to 3 but cover 4 to 6.Say the sentences for the first three pictures. Ask students to guess what is going to happen. 3.Continue as in step2 with the rest silhouettes.

4.Uncover pictures 4 to 6 one by one and tell the students what is happening in each picture.

5.Play the tape for students to listen to native

speakers saying the lines while they look at the pictures in their own books.

6.Show students the picture card for ‘rubber’ and say rubber begins with the sound ‘r’.show the word card for ‘rubber’ and say ‘R...rubber’.Repeat. Shoe alphabet cards ‘R’ and ‘r’.Do the same with ‘S s...sweet’.

Post-task activities Divide students into groups of six.Ask them to tell the story together,each member of the group reading one line.Have groups tell the story to the rest of the class.

P re-task preparations ：

1.Say ‘In my room there is ...’ and point at a student to say something that is in their own room. Write on the board what each student says until there is a list of things found in a bedroom on the board. Tell the students they are going to learn a rhyme. While-procedures：

1.Get students to open their student’s book to page 16.Ask them ‘What color is the bed?’ and ‘ What is on the bed?’

2.Ask them to tell you the names of the animals in the bottom picture.Try to elicit the word ‘zoo’.

3.Read the rhyme slowly line by line.Practise saying both verses.

4.Repeat the poem a bit faster and point out to the students that it rhymes.

5.Invite pairs of students to act out the rhyme to the class.

Post-task activities

Say the rhyme again,with boys saying one verse and girls the next.
