Unit 4 Story time 设计思路：

本课属于PEP五年级下册第四单元Story time部分的教学。故事主要讲述了Zoom不受外界干扰，专心练习唱歌，最终在唱歌考试中取得好成绩。

本课设计主要从复习What can you do? I can…入手过过渡到What will you do? I will…为接下来Will you…重点句型铺垫。本课采用总分总的形式呈现故事内容。在读之前提出问题引发对故事人物、地点的思考。在阅读故事中设计问题，引发学生对于人物感受、语气、心情的思考，得出Practice makes perfect.最后通过对故事的回顾和演绎，整体把握故事。

教学目标、教学重难点分析：

教学目标：

1. 学生能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解故事内容，复习和巩固句型The singing test will be on May 4th. I can’t…I want to …

2. 拓展学习句型Practice makes perfect. Will you come to the party/play football with me after lunch? I want to practise the song. I need more practice. I’ll go swimming tonight.增加学生的语言输入。

3. 理解故事内容，并且朗读故事、表演故事情节

4. 通过Zoom专心刻苦练习最终在不擅长的唱歌考试中得到音乐考试称赞的经理学习谚语“Practice makes perfect”的深刻含义。

教学重点：

学生理解并运用重点句型The singing test will be on May 4th. I can’t…I want to …能够理解教学目标中的拓展句型。

教学难点：

能够在语境中理解Practice和Practise的区别，在情景中理解Practice makes perfect。
