Unit 7 Chinese festivals 一、教学目标：

1. 能听懂、会读、会说节日单词：Double Ninth Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Spring Festival. 2. 能听懂、会读、会说不同节日的传统食物和活动。

3. 通过对课文的学习和在教师的指导下了解并掌握如何谈论节日。

4.通过对课文的学习能够谈论自己喜爱的节日，并且能够写一写自己喜爱的节日。

5.教育学生热爱自己的家人，热爱中国的传统节日。

二、学情分析：

1.本课主要授课对象为我校五年级学生，大多数学生学习主动性较强，对图片，歌曲和动画视频的兴趣较浓厚，学生学习和使用英语的积极性还是较高的。

2. 在平时课堂教学的free talk环节已经初步渗透过12个月份的表达法，学生对月份的表达已比较熟悉。

3.本单元的的话题是中国主要的传统节日。学生已经在五上学习过西方的重要节日Christmas，已经初步了解从时间，人们的活动和人们所吃的食物三方面谈论节日，已经具备了一定的知识的方法基础。

三、教学重难点：

1. 节日单词：Double Ninth Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, Spring Festival. 2. 掌握不同节日的传统食物和活动。
