Look! I have a new bike/taxi/train. What colour is it? Is it nice/cool/super? Let the students introduce their new toys or school things with the sentence: I have a new …. (2) Let the students read the chant sentence by sentence after the teacher. (3) Let the students say the chant together. 3. Sing a colour song: Teacher shows the song on PPT, let the students sing the song together. 学

1. Practise: How nice! (1) Show some nice pictures on PPT: There are many colourful flowers/balloons/fish. 2. Introduce the colour: red (1) Guess which colour I like. (2) Teacher writes the word on the blackboard.
(3) PPT shows: The sun/pepper is red. What is red in our life? 3. Introduce the colour: blue (1) Teacher points and asks: What colour is it? Let the students look and say the colour. (2) Teacher writes the word ”blue”
on the blackboard. Let the students look, read and spell. (3) Talk about the blue things. 4. Let the students look at the pictures and say the colours. 5. Teacher presents the dialogue: (1) Let the students listen and answer the questions: What’s in Lisa’s hand?
What colour is it? (2) Let the students listen, point and repeat after the tape. (3) Let them practice the dialogue in pairs and act it out.
1. Play a guessing game: Teacher shows toys, let the students guess the colours and make up a dialogue with the teacher. 2. Let the students practice and make up a new dialogue with their own things according to the patterns given on PPT.
1. Colour games: Let the students look, think and say the colours: 1. Practise: How nice! (1) Students look at the screen carefully and enjoy the beautiful scene. Read the sentence on the PPT together: Oh, how nice! (2) Students look at the colours carefully, and ask and answer like this: What colour is it? It’s …. 2. Learn the colour: red (1) Look and say the colour: red. (2) Students read and spell the word. (3) Talk about the red things in daily life: A red________. 3. (1) Look and say the colour: blue (2) Students read and spell the word “blue”. (3) Talk about the blue things they have like this: A blue_________ 4. Students look and tell the colours: It’s … and …. It’s …, … and …. 5. Learn the dialogue: (1) Students listen and find the answers: It’s a pencil.
It’s red and blue. (2) Students point at the books and read the dialogue after the tape. (3) Students read the dialogue in pairs and act in pairs.
1. Play a game with the teacher and make up a dialogue like this: T: Hello! I have a new train. What colour is it? Please guess! S1: Red? T: No! Look, It’s white. 2. Students make up a new dialogue in pairs and act it.
