Teaching procedure: Step 1 Introduction

1 Lead-in. What kind of film do you like to see? (show some pictures about some films) Step 2 Pre-reading (1)Ask Ss to turn to page 57 and look at the picture from the film Frankenstein and then answer the questions in Activity 1．

(2)Ask Ss to read the passage in Activity 2 and catch the information. Who is the writer of the novel? What is the story about? Who played the monster?

(3)Compete the sentences in Activity 3 with the correct form of the words. Step 3 While-reading 1.Fast-reading (1)Listen to the tape and then make Ss match the main idea. Para.1
