教材分析
本单元的话题是四季。本课为本单元第一课,需要学习有关四季的四个名词winter, spring, summer, autumn和四季的不同特征以及put on, take off 两个动词短语。本课的特点是通过描述四季的不同特征,讨论在不同季节所穿戴不同的服装,本课可以与本单元及四年级曾经学过的表示天气和服装类的单词整合在一起。
学情分析
学生在四年级已经学过形容天气的形容词和各种常见服装的名词,而且在本册Unit2 Lesson9中又一次学习了表达各城市的天气状况,为本课学习表达四季的气候特点打好了基础。通过课上的复习活动激活他们相关的语言储备,在学生已有的语言知识和相关经验的基础上,逐步扩展他们围绕天气、服装、树木自然变化、户外活动等方面构建有关四季的知识系统。
教学目标
知识与技能目标
(1)学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:
season, winter, spring, summer, autumn (2)学生能认读、理解并运用下列句子:
Winter,spring,summer and autumn are seasons. Winter is cold. There is ice and snow. In winter, I put on my hat, scarf and winter coat. In spring, I take off my winter clothes. 过程与方法目标
通过观看视频,大致了解加拿大,进而学***的四季。通过小组合作、认真倾听、积极参与学会运用本课词汇和句子,通过总结归纳在相关知识间建立关联。

Step1 Warm up (1’) 教学活动

Greeting. T: Hello,boys and girls. How is the weather today? 1.
T: Who is she?
Jenny is in Canada. Let go to Canada. (Let the students watch the promotion video of Canada.) T: How is the weather in Canada? These are the twelve months in Canada. Play a game “Flash card” to review the words.
2.Teach the new words: season,spring,summer,autumn and winter. (Write the words on the blackboard. The students write with the teacher using their fingers. Pay attention to the pronunciation. Read the words in sentences together, then choose three or four students to read. At last ,share with a shoulder partner.) T: Let’s see the beautiful pictures of Canada. How do you feel? There are four seasons in Canada. Jenny gives you a gift. It’s a leaf. There are two leaves. Now look! The leaves turn red and yellow. T: So many red and yellow leaves. How do you feel? What season is it?
T: Autumn is cool. The leaves turn red and yellow. T:Good!Autumn is beautiful. There is ice and snow. 学生活动

Play a game “Bomb
game”.
(Let the students read the words about clothes and sort the clothes by seasons.) T: Where is the scarf? (The teacher takes out the hat and the scarf to show the phrases “put on”and “take off”) 3.
Pair work. Let the students read and act in pairs (Different clothes for different season).

Play games with the teacher to review the seasons. Step3 Practice (13’) Listen to the tape and read with a partner to review the seasons. Share in class.
Look at the pictures and say the words.

The students read the phrases and do the actions with the teacher.
Work in pairs to read and do the actions together. Then share in class.

Production (10’) 1.
T: How many seasons are there ? What are they?
2.T: This is Jenny’s favourite season. Help the kids review the words and phrases that they will use for writing.

season? (Present Jenny’s passage to help the students writing.) T: Talk about it in pairs.
3.Let the students write down their favourite seasons.
(Show the sentence structures on PPT)
