Looking for a Hospital Vocabulary and Target 一、教学目标: 1、知识目标：

⑴认读单词turn left ,turn right, go straight, across from ,street ,corner ,traffic light ,bus stop. ⑵认读句型：Excuse me. Where is the hospital? Turn left/right at the corner. It’s next to the park. Excuse me. Where’s the …? Go straight. It’s next to the supermarket. ⑶学会用英语礼貌地问路和指路。

2、情感目标：鼓励学生大胆开口说英语，用英语问路和引路。

二、教学重难点：重点是认记单词和词组，难点是词组go straight, across from, traffic light的记忆和对Where is …?的回答。

三、教学内容：Vocabulary , Target . 四、课前准备：录音机 单词卡

五、教学过程：

Step 1.Warm-up 1、Let’s chant：Traffic Lights. 2、Free talk --What day is it today ? --It’s ..... --What’s the weather like today? --It’s ..... 3.Show some pictures to the students and ask them some questions . Eg: -What’s wrong with him /her ?

：turn left ,turn right, go straight, across from ,street ,corner ,traffic light ,bus stop.让学生看着图片，学单词，并把单词放到以下句型中练：Excuse me. Where is the bank? Turn…at the corner. It’s next to the park. Where’s the …? Go straight. It’s across from the park. 2. 区分across from 和 next to 的用法。

3、操练单词和短语。

4、Do you know what they mean ? (巩固和复习单词)

5、Translate into English . (巩固和复习单词) 6.Watch a video and learn “Target”. (1)Listen and find out .Where is the hospital ?

Where is the bank? (2) Ask the students to read the sentences after the tape and retell . (3)Ask and tell the way in pairs , then ask some students to present . Step 3 Production.

(1).Play a game .(眼力，记忆力比赛）. (2).Choose A,B or C. Step 4 Summary. (1).单词和短语。

(2).学习礼貌地问路和指路。

(3). 重点句型。

Step 5 Homework： (1).读书P19五次。

(2).抄写书P19 单词每个两行，写上中文；

(3).抄写Target句子每句一次并翻译。
