I’m very glad to share my lesson with you. Today I'm going to talk about Friends with English Book7, Unit4 Keeping Clean. Now, I will explain the lesson from the following parts. I. Analysis of the students（学生分析）

1. The students are in Grade 6. They have certain skills in English. They are eager to learn, eager to show, and their abstract thinking is developing. 2. The students are forming the ability to explore English knowledge and skill with some tools, such as pictures, videos and dictionaries. II. Analysis of teaching material（说教材）

1. Teaching aims（教学目标）

CAI. Next, I will talk about the teaching methods. III. Teaching methods and Studying methods（教学方法与学习策略）

Teaching methods（教学方法）

(1)

Situational Teaching Approach Ss can easily understand the language points in a certain situation. (2)

Task-based Teaching Approach It can motivate the students to learn and use the language points under the teacher’s guidance.

2. Studying methods（学习策略）

(1)

Let the Ss study in a relaxed and agreeable atmosphere. (2)

After feeling and comprehending the language points, let Ss obtain the knowledge actively by probe study and cooperative study. IV. Teaching procedures and purposes of my design（教学过程及设计意图）

I divide the teaching process into five steps. Step1 Warm-up（热身）

(5min.) 1. Play a game and free-talking. Purpose: Playing a game can arouse exciting motion. At the same time, Ss can review the learnt knowledge for the next step.

Step2 Presentation （新课呈现）

(17min.) 1. Talking about some pictures and leading in the story-learning. Purpose: Ss can compare with the usage of the past tense and the present tense according to the pictures. 2. Have Ss watch the dialogue. Before watching, ask a question: Is the park clean at last? Then have Ss try to answer this question. Purpose: Task-based teaching method is used here to have Ss focus on the dialogue, which can help Ss to catch the main idea more easily. 3. Explain the new word: everywhere, and pick up the trash. Show the pictures of these two words.

Purpose: After showing the pictures, the Ss understand the meaning of these two words. They are easy to understand the story. So they will be attracted in the class. 4. Have the Ss listen again, and judge the sentences.

Purpose: Judge the sentences can help the Ss understand the meaning of the text easily. 5. Let Ss listen again and imitate the dialogue, pay attention to their pronunciation and intonation. Purpose: The purpose of this is to cultivate pupils’ basic abilities of their listening and speaking. 6. Listen again and match the sentences with the pictures. Purpose: By this step, it achieved the teaching aim of understanding the dialogue of this lesson.

7. After the Ss are familiar with the text, let the Ss try to act out the dialogue.

Purpose: Role-play method is much easier for the Ss to use the language in a real situation. It can arouse Ss’

performance desire, which can also achieve the teaching aims of understanding and reading the dialogue. 8. Fill in the blanks and retell the story. Purpose: Retell the story can sum up the main idea of the story. In this step, the Ss’ abilities of reading and writing will be well improved. Step3 Practice （练习）

(10min.) 1. Choose the best answer. Purpose: It’s necessary for the students to consolidate the new knowledge in time. To master the language capability needs certain amount of practice.

2. Choose the best answer to fill in the blanks. Have the students compare the changes of the two students. Purpose: These two students are in my class. The other students are familiar with them. It can rouse the students’ interest on talking about their classmates’ changes. Then the students can understand and learn the key structures easily and naturally. 3. Fill in the blanks to finish writing.

Purpose: For this step, I shall instruct the Ss to use the words and patterns learnt in the process of completing certain tasks. Step 4 Extension （拓展和情感教育）

(5min.) 1.

Show different pictures of environmental pollution. Purpose: This step can lead Ss to be aware of the importance of our environmental protection. 2. Give some advice on environmental protection. Appeal the students to protect the environment. Purpose: This step leads to the emotion objectives of this lesson. Step5

Sum-up and homework. （小结和家庭作业）

(3min.)

1. Summarize the whole lesson. 2. Homework. Retell the story; tell your friends something about the environmental protection. Purpose: It is necessary for students to do some extensive exercises after class to consolidate the learned knowledge. Part V Blackboard design（板书设计）
