教材简析：本课内容是在Unit6 Me五官介绍基础上进行教学的。借用已经学过的知识进入教学。本课所涉及到的小动物单词，大部分学生在日常生活中已接触过，教学时用相关的chant和song来唤起学生对这些单词的记忆。如何将单词与句型结合并在情境中运用这是本课的重点。语言的操练离不开情境，教学时可以采用层层递进的方式，推进课程教学。

学情分析：低年级的学生活泼好动，对游戏特别感兴趣，为此在教学过程中，我充分运用了游戏、活动形式以此来激发学生对学习内容的兴趣。但对于这些孩子，英语基本就是零基础，所以学习起来相对较慢。这就要求教师对同一内容多次重复，尽可能多的操练，达到掌握知识的目的。在教授的过程中要耐心，切不可急于求成。而且孩子们对课堂常规还不是很熟悉，对教师上课时发出的指令都不能很快明白，所以教师要尽量通过肢体语言的辅助让孩子明白教师的意思，尽量少用汉语。让孩子慢慢体味英语的课堂氛围。

知识目标：

能力目标：

(1)能运用所学知识简单描述日程生活中的小动物;

(2)培养学生听、说的能力和正确的运用重点句型; 情感目标：

培养学生热爱动物的意识与情感,从自身做起，从小做起保护动物。

能够正确听说、认读小动物的单词rabbit,mouse,cat,dog并能灵活运用重点句“What is it?

Step1 Warming up and Warming up 1.Enjoy a song : My pet，My buddy 2.Daily talking: Are you ready for our class? Hi,boys and girls. （设计意图）：活跃课堂气氛，并且感知本节课所要学习的内容,让学生在愉快的氛围中进入到课堂。

rabbit jump jump jump(跳) Its ears are long. Its ears are long. (设计意图)：新知的传授中拓展学生思维，反复操练重点单词，边呈现新单词新句型，边操练，让学生们在快乐中学习，整个课堂不会死气沉沉。

Step4 Practice and Consolidation：

1.let’s chant again in line （设计意图）：学生一起进行chant活动，巩固所学单词，巩固语音。

2.Play a game ‘Turn and Say’
