Warm up

T: Good morning, boys and girls. Ss: Good morning.

T: Before our class, let’s play a game, ok? Ss: Ok! T: The game is super memory, please remember the letters in a short time. Ss: Ok! T: What can you see in the screen? Ss: I can see colors. T: Today we will learn some things about colors. Do you know the colors?

Part 1: Ask& Answer

Q1: What are the primary colors?

Ss: Red, yellow, blue.

Q2: red + yellow =?

Ss: Orange.

Q3: blue + yellow =?

Ss: Green.

Q4: red + blue =?

Ss: Purple.

Q5: What are the warm and cool colors?

Ss: Warm colors: red yellow orange.

Cool colors: green purple blue.

Tips: Primary colors: 3 basic colors

T: Warm colors：

When you see the warm colors, you will feel warm, such as the color of the sun.

Cool colors: When you see the cool colors, you will cool and down, such as the color of the grapes. 【Design intent】Let them know the primary colors and the secondary colors, warm and cool colors, and help students know the color knowledge deeply. Part 2: Let’s say 1.Look at the pictures and say

4. Play a game

Part 3: Let’s make sentences & Let’s chant

Help students use some words to make some sentences, and use these sentences to make a chant.

T: You can say many sentences about colors. Can you make a sentence

with some words? Every group has some words, you can make a sentence with these words, ok? You can discuss with your group members. Then show us your sentence.

T: There are so many sentences. Let’s use them to make a new chant. Let’s chant together. 【Design intent】This is a pair work. And the students will try to use the focus sentences to make a new chant by themselves.

Part 1: Let’s know T: Boys and girls, colors are around of us. Let’s know some meanings and functions of the colors.
