学生情况分析：

本单元所在的模块是三年级上学期的第四模块，整个模块以The natural world为主题，通过学习让孩子了解大自然的一些知识。本单元是其中的第一个组成部分，以Insects为主题来学习认识一些最基本的昆虫，除了bee是学生在二年级有所接触、较熟悉的单词，其余的内容学生均从未接触过，如ladybird, ant, butterfly等。当然，学生在一、二年级所学过的一些其他小动物仍然让学生对描述动物有了一定的了解和认识，这对本单元学生对昆虫的学习、认识和描述也是非常有帮助的。通过整合运用已学句型，能和他人交流各种昆虫的名称、外貌特征、能力等方面的信息，做较为完整的介绍。

因此，基于课标、教材与学情，我将本单元三课时的分话题分别设定为（Period 1）Insects I know，（Period 2）Insects I like，（Period 3）Making an insect card。第一课时整合Look and learn和Look and say，第二课时整合了Say and act

和Ask and answer，第三课时综合各板块内容进行学习。通过整个单元的学习，学生能在具体的情境中，向他人介绍各种昆虫的名称、外貌特征、能力等方面。同时，激发学生热爱动物，探索昆虫世界的兴趣。
