Teaching Aims:

1. Talk about your favourite toy by using the words and new phrases (新单词和句子的学习,积累词汇和语言)

1)Try to learn the words: skateboard, doll, robot, toy train

2)Try to read and use the phrases: favourite toy, play with,

3.)Try to talk about the favourite toys and the reason why this toy is your favourite.

e.g. long /smooth/cute/ lovely/

run fast, skate on the skateboard, play with …

2. Give the reason why this toy is your favourite toy by using the key

patterns(新旧知识的联接与整合,同一主题不同年级内容的纵向整合,重点突出语用功能。)

(2)What do you like? I like… It’s/they’re… Look at my…It is…It has…It can/I can…It is my favourite toy.

3.Read the passages and get mot information from it. (让学生在阅读中学会抓住关键信息,掌握一定的阅读技巧)

5. Play with the toys and enjoy happiness. (通过对玩具的描述,体会到玩具带来的快乐!)

Teaching methods:

1. Enjoy a video, enjoy a song,show the pictures of the toys(创设情景、提高学习积极性)

2. Read the chants, make a rhyme (巩固词句学习,培养朗读的节奏和语感)

3. Try to say, ask and answer,work in pairs,read and judge(各种操练形式,加强对文本的理解以及输出)

4. Describe the characters of the toys and how to play with the toy, realize the happiness from the toys(通过对玩具的描述和玩法的描述,体会玩具带来的快乐)

Ben and Kitty like toys very much. Today is Sunday. They go to the toy shop with Mum.

There are many toys in the toy shop. They can see some toy trains, some dolls, some skateboards and some robots. The toys are very nice and super!

Mum: Hi,children. Do you like these toys? Ben, what do you like? Ben: Yes,I like skateboards. Look at this skateboard. It has four wheels. I can skate on the skateboard. So cool!

Mum: What’s your favourite toy, Kitty?

Kitty: I don’t like skateboards. I like dolls. They are my favourite toys. Look, Mum! I like this blue doll. It’s cute and lovely. I can play with the doll. How nice!

Mum: OK. Let’s buy them.

Ben & Kitty: Wow! That’s great! Thank you, Mum!

Now Ben and Kitty have the skateboard and the doll. The toys are their friends.
