(1) To enable the students to understand , speak and spell the words: doll, bed, see, she, with.

(2) To enable the students to understand , speak and master the sentence patterns:Where is…? ... on your bed …in the box Is it…?

(3) To listen, speak and act the dialogue.

2. Ability objects

(1) To develop the students speaking strategy.

(2) To encourage the students cooperation amongst in their studies

3.Moral objects

To arouse the students’ interest of learning English and to have them participate actively in language communication. To enhance student's rural mood.

III Difficult and important points

Difficult points:To be able to use the sentence patterns:

“Where is…? ... on your bed …in the box Is it…? ”more freely.

Important points:to act the dialogue , use the sentence patterns and learn the words: doll, bed, see, she, with.

V Teaching procedure

Step1 Revision:

To review the 5 vowel letters and their pronunciations, then to review some words:[æ]bag, thank, [e] yes, bed, [i]Miss, in, is, with, [ɔ] fox, doll , us, [ʌ] duck (it includes some new words: doll, bed,with )

Step 2 Presentation:

1.To read and spell the new words: doll, bed, with. Accroding the words “bee” to learn the new word “ see”. Then try to translate and use it.

2.To lead in the dialogue: There’s a toy in the bag. You can touch it, and guess what’s it?(doll)

3.The first paragraph:T: But I can’t see it. Can you help me? You can guess “Is it…?” Ss: Is it in/on..(bag, desk,…)T: No. ( draw a picture of bed) Ss: Is it on your bed? T:No. ( draw a picture of a doll in the box) Look! It’s in

the box. Oh, yes, thank you. According to the pictures, the students may retell it.

4.The second paragraph: (CAI)Look! She’s Miss Cat, and she’s Miss Fox ) Who missed? Can you guess is she with…? Look! She is with Mr Frog.

2.Try to imitate the recording.

Step 4 Consolidation and extention
