2.学生能够区别并运用以下的句子:This is … and These are …

3.通过情景创设,让学生能够以“圣诞节即将来临”为话题,了解圣诞节的文化和过圣诞节所需的物品,培养学生喜欢西方国家节日,热爱生活的美好情感。激发学生学习英语的愿望并乐于运用英语交流。教学重点:了解圣诞节的文化和过圣诞节所需的物品。

教学难点:能够理解Christmas Is Coming中的Is Coming(现在进行时)表示一般将来时的用法。

教学准备:

课件、张贴画、录音机。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warming up

(1) Listen and try to sing the song “Jingle Bells”with music.

(2) Free talk.

T:How are you?

Nice to meet you.

Do you know Christmas?

Ss talk with each other freely.

Step 2 Presentation

(1)Teaching the new words and sentences

①Use a tree to learn “ Christmas tree ” “ Christmas ”Christmas is coming. 此句用现在进行时表示一般将来时。

② Santa=San+ta(用拼音来记)

This is Santa. He brings us many gifts.

③Light(可以从right引出)

These are Christmas lights.

④holiday (通过day加前缀)

(让学生小组练习句子并记忆单词,教师指名学生读单词)

(2)学生自读课文,以小组为单位对课文内容进行自编对话,再表演给大家。

Step 3 practice

(1)Listen and read Part1.Then do the part2.

(2)Ask the students to answer the questions .

(3)Translate the sentences,then read them.

Step 4 Homework

Finish the activity book .
