教学内容：

五上Unit7 At weekends (Story time)；新单词教学，新句型教学。

教材分析：

本节课将围绕着“at weekends”这一话题来展开对话练习，在Story time 中，通过Mike and Su Hai 谈论自己和别人在周末的一些活动。从而引入本单元的单词“visit, grandparent, often, chat, internet, always, sometimes”,短语“at weekends, chat on the Internet, fly a kite, go to the cinema, have a picnic, very much”

在对新单词和短语的学习上，不能只用单一的记忆让学生记单词，而要通过游戏等让学生感兴趣的方式达到记忆的效果。在课文中还引入本单元的重点句型“What do you/they do at weekends? What does he/she do at weekends?” “I/they/she/he often/usually/always/sometimes…”以及动词用法，并在交际活动中学会运用。在这一部分的教学中，教师一定要注意让学生多动口，多给学生提供开口说英语的机会。

学情分析：

1. 本单元谈论的话题是周末活动，教师可以结合学生用书四年级下册Unit2 After school和五年级上册Unit 4 Hobbies的内容，综合呈现语言知识。教师可以和学生一起复习有关课外活动和业余爱好的词汇，作为导入或巩固活动。

2、本单元的语法知识是频率副词，教师可以利用四年级下册Unit3 My day 的内容做导入或巩固活动。

Step1. Warming up.（热身活动）

T: Do you like the poem? Let’s see the title. Do you know weekends, boys and girls? Let’s see this calendar. These are Saturdays and Sundays. Boys and girls, we call Saturdays and Sundays weekends. T: This time, let’s learn the poem in details. Look at these yellow words. Let’s learn them one by one. “always”, ”usually”, ”often”, ”sometimes” . Read one by one/in boys and girls/in groups.
