After learning the lesson, students can be able to speak the numbers (one to five) correctly.
·Ability object:
After learning the lesson, students can be able to speak the numbers correctly and frequently and can do some exercise about fingers.
·Emotive object:
Students can arouse the interest in learning and speaking English by playing games.
Teaching important points:
The correct pronunciation of the numbers
Teaching difficult points:
The pronunciation of number 3 and number 5
Teaching method:
CLT (Communicative Language Teaching)
3P (Presentation, Practice, Production)
Teaching process:
Step1. Warming-up:
·Greeting
·Review: sing a song together How are you
Step2. Lead-in
First, ask students to enjoy a song and then guess what the topic is today.
Step3. Presentation
First, show the pictures to students and ask them “what is the number in Chinese and how
to speak it in English?”
Then, show them the card “one”
Teach them the number1 to number5 one by one.
When it comes to “three” and “five”, let the students pay more attention to the pronunciation.
Step4. Consolidation
Play games: high or low voice
help numbers to find home
Do exercise about fingers
Step5. Make a summary
Ask a question: what have you learned about the lesson? Step6. Homework
