教材分析：

本课是广州市小学六年级英语 Module5 Travel abroad的第五课时，本单元以Travel abroad为话题，旨在通过单元教学，使学生了解在一些国家的名称、首都及著名景点。学会表达个人最想去的国家，能用所学的有关travel abroad的词汇描述。本课充分调动学生学习的主动性，从听、说、读、写四个方面为学生提供大量训练，开展了游戏、儿歌、情景造新对话等多种活动，让学生在语境中学习新知，又在任务中巩固新知、迁移新知，提高语言的综合运用能力。

学生分析：

学生通过之前学习的铺垫，对于国家的表达已经有了一定的掌握，所以能够较好表达。

教学策略：

本课时作为六年级下学期第五个模块的巩固课，以暑假出游计划导入，对学生的兴趣培养尤为重要，能把学生的兴趣激发起来。故此，本课设计以激发学生兴趣为主，以去哪儿旅游为情景，利用图片等方式开展教学，提高学生学习兴趣。

一、语言知识：

单词：(四会) Tower Bridge, Singapore

句型：I will travel to America. Washington D.C is the capital city of America. When I’m there, I plan to visit Disneyland and watch basketball matches. 二、语言技能： 1、能听说并认读本课的单词和句型。

2、能理解课文，流利朗读课文。

3、通过这课让学生了解如何用英语表达个人想去的国家。

三、情感目标：通过本节课的学习，能体会学习英语的乐趣，乐于说英语，用英语交流。了解英语的语言表达，体会不同语言的魅力，促进心智发展。通过了解不同的国家、首都及景点，使学生能够流利说出自己的旅行计划。

教学重点和难点：

1、能够清晰的区别每个国家的首都; 2、运用句型在话题中流利表达。
