Unit Four Where is my car? Teaching plan

My teaching plan is Unit Four 《Where is my car?》I’d like to talk about my teaching plan from 7aspects:teaching material,my students,teaching aims,teching key points and difficult points,teaching methods. 一、teaching material This lesson is from unit four of PEP primary English,the main topic of this lesson is Where is my car.By studying of this unit,we will enable students to know how to use English to express.If the students can learn it well,it will be helpful to make the students learn the rest of the unit and develop students four skills. 二、My students They are in grade three.They are active and curious about everything ,interested in new things.They are familiar with the topic in daily life. However,they are the beginners in English learning. It’s very important to cultivate their interest. 三、Teaching Aims 1、knowledge aims:Students will be able to use new words on、in、under、chair、desk and sentence pattern “where is my ...”

2、Ability aims:students will develop four skills

3、Emotion aims:students will have more interest in English. 四、Teaching key point and teaching difficult point Teaching key point :to make the students master the new words“on、in、under、chair、desk” and sentence patterns“where is my ...”

Teaching difficult point: how to apply the knowledge in the daily life. 五、Teaching Aids:In this lesson,the multi-media and cards will be used to make the class lively and improve. 六、Teaching methods Teach the students how to communicate with others and the competition method to develop the students interest in English. 七、Teaching procedures: Step one: warming up and lead in. First of all,say hello to my students,and do a warming up by singing a song.This activity will draw student’s attention to this lesson. Secondly,teacher will find her book,ask students”who can find the book for me?”and lead this lesson”where is my book?”

Thirdly,Through PPT,I’ll show students the new words“on、in、under、chair、desk”,let students guess the meaning of the meaning and play a game named “High voice and low voice”to strengthen

their pronunciation. Then comes to the dialogue，There are two activities in this step: Activity one:role play,students can play out the dialogue with their partner and change their roles. Activity two:”hide games”

students will hide their things ,according to the situation by use the key words and sentences, try to make a new dialogue,so by work in groups and I’ll give them an example: A: Where is my pen? B: It’s on the desk. Task-based teaching method and communicative language teaching are used here.The activity is to develop students ability of communication,and also,this ability of cooperation will be well developed Step5:Summary and homework I’ll find a student to make a summary about “what do you learn today,if incompletely,I’ll add the other knowledge.we’ll review the words and sentences together.
