Lesson 3 一.教学背景

本教材是人教版《新起点英语》五年级上册第二单元第3课,本课为读写课。本节课为第三课时，学生通过两节课的学习，已能听懂，会说wear glasses, slim, curly, straight, nice, young和teach七个单词和短语以及功能句What does he/she teach? He/ She teaches...等句型初步描述教师的外貌特征。本节课在此基础上为学生创设练习语言的环境。让他们在读懂文章的基础上，有节奏有感情的朗读课文，实现由听说到读写的转换。

二. 教学目标

1.语言技能目标

（1）借助图片理解文章大意，并朗读文章。

（2）能认读、理解文中生词。如handsome等。

（3）能通过例句或词语图片的提示下在一线格上书写“favourite teacher”。

2.知识技能目标

（1）运用正确的语音语调朗读课文。

（2）能读懂描述教师外貌、爱好及其有关其所教科目的短文。在日常生活中用所学语言来描述教师。

3.学习策略目标

通过感知，理解文章大意，是学生乐于参与，善于表达，培养合作精神。

4.情感目标

使学生通过小组合作，培养合作意识，共同完成阅读任务。

三.重难点：

教学重点：

（1）通过抓关键词，文章大意以及功能词理解关于教师的文章。

（2）根据正确的语音语调朗读课文。

教学难点：

用英语描述教师，书写关于教师的小短文。

四. 教学过程

Step 1: warm up&/review 1. Greeting 2. Let’s do T: I say “tall”, you say ”short”.复习之前所学的内容。
