1.通过Listen and say的对话,帮助学生理解核心句型How many …

are there? There are …。

2.通过Ask and answer问答活动,帮助学生操练核心句型。 3.通过形状拼图活动,帮助学生发挥想象力,建立形状与生活的联系,通过介绍拼图作品,帮助学生运用核心句型。

重点:词汇:circle,square,star 句型:How many squares are there? There are two squares. 难点:

1、triangle和 rectangle的读音

2、There is 与There are的区别

四、教具准备:

课件,图片与卡片等

五、教学步骤

Pre-task preparations 1.为渲染学习气氛。拿出一张正方形的纸,接着将纸对折呈现一个三角形,然后再换一种方式对折呈现一个长方形。通过演示,引出单元话题“形状”。

T: (point at the paper) Look at the paper. It’s a square. (fold the paper and point at the shape) Look, is it a square now? S2: No, it isn’t. T: It’s a triangle. (fold the paper in another way and point at the shape) Is it a triangle? S1: No, it isn’t.

2.出示Look and learn栏目中的单词图片,学生在理解意思的基础上仔细听其发音后进行模仿,并进行拼读。模仿和拼读活动可以是集体的,也可以是个别的。

T: (show the flashcard for square) Look, it’s a square. Square. S-Q-U-A-R-E, square. Ss: Square. S-Q-U-A-R-E, square. 3.What’s missing? 游戏。将所有单词图片呈现给学生,任意抽走一张,让学生说出被抽走的单词。前几次可以通过图片消失形式,后面几次可以是以单词消失的形式。然后让学生集体拼读这些单词。

T: What’s missing? S1: A circle. Ss: Circle. C-I-R-C-L-E, circle. While-task procedures 1.手拿各种形状的卡片对学生进行提问,并将这些形状卡片分发给回答问题的学生。通过此活动复习前一课时所学单词并引出本单元的核心句型。

T: (hold the shape of a circle) Is it a triangle? S1: No, it isn’t. It’s a circle. T: Do you like the circle? S1: Yes, I do. T: Here you are. S1: Thank you. T: (hold the shape of a rectangle) Is it a rectangle? S2: Yes, it is. T: Who likes the rectangle? S3: I like the rectangle. T: Here you are. S3: Thank you. …

分发完形状卡片后,让学生数一数每种形状有多少个

T: What shapes do you have? S1: I have a circle. S2: I have a …

引出本单元的核心句型How many … are there? There is/are …。

Ss: One circle. T: Yes, there is one circle. 2.出示Listen and say的图片,让学生看图回答问题。

1) What’s in the picture? (A house and some trees.) 2) How many windows and doors are there? (Two windows and a door.) 3) How many trees are there? (There are six trees.) 4) How is the house? (It’s beautiful.) 然后播放对话录音,让学生听录音模仿,跟读对话。

3.出示Listen and say中的房子图,让学生看图回答问题,Questions 1)-4)采用师生问答的形式,Question 5)-7)采用生生问答的形式。通过看图问答,为后面的继续学习作铺垫。

1) What is it? (It’s a house.) 2) What shapes can you see? (A triangle, a star, some circles, some squares and some rectangles.) 3) How many circles are there? (Six circles.) 4) How many stars are there? (One star.) 5) How many triangles are there? (One triangle.) 6) How many squares are there? (Two squares.) 7) How many rectangles are there? (Nine rectangles.) 4.出示Ask and answer的图片,让学生开展对子活动,让更多的学生能够操练How many … are there? There are …,复习和巩固词汇和句型。还可以把挂图贴在黑板上,让学生根据挂图中的形状拼画进行问答。

S1: Look at Picture 3. How many circles are there? S2: There are four circles. Post-task activities 1、让学生用不同的形状画一幢房子,然后根据教师的示范,用一段话进行介绍。让学生综合巩固所学的知识,提高语言表达能力。

T: Look! This is a house. It’s big. Look at the roof. It’s a triangle. Look at the windows. They are squares. Look at the door. It’s a rectangle.

I can see a handle on the door. It’s a circle. The house is nice. I like the house. 2.把挂图贴在黑板上,让学生看图中各种形状拼画,然后把不同大小、颜色的各种形状分发给学生,让他们自由分组,发挥创意,拼出一幅图画。

然后请个别小组上来介绍他们的作品,教师根据作品提问,让其他学生回答。

Unit 11 Shapes circle star square How many squares are there? There are two squares. Teaching notes : 在本课教学中,学生对图形词较为陌生,我利用单词卡片,教室实物以及课件中的图形等对学生进行各种形式的输入,帮助他们加深印象。但对于本课的对话巩固形式较为单一,没有考虑到相关的拓展及对于学生思维的训练。在今后的教学中,应注意相关的训练。
