一、单元教学文本

Mr. Giant has a big garden. But the children can’t go into it. There’re no green leaves or beautiful flowers in it. Mr. Giant is not happy. Danny: What can you see? Peter: I can see a seesaw. Danny: What colour is it? Peter: It’s yellow and blue. Danny: What can you see? Peter: I can see a swing and a slide. Danny: What colour is the swing? Peter: It’s orange. Danny: What colour is the slide? Peter: It’s red and purple.

They go to the slide. Peter: Let’s play on the slide. Danny: OK! Peter: Oh, I can hear ‘Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you.’

Danny: Oh, I can hear ‘Apple red, apple round, apple juicy, apple sweet.’

Peter & Danny: Wow! The slide is magic.

They go to the seesaw. It’s under the magic tree. Peter: Let’s play on the seesaw. Danny: OK! Peter: I like the car. Oh, I can pick the car. Danny: I like the hamburger. Oh, I can pick the hamburger.

Peter & Danny: Wow! It’s magic.

They go to the swing. Peter: Let’s play on the swing. Danny: OK! Peter: Oh, I can fly very high. I can touch the cloud. Danny: Oh, I can touch the bird. Peter & Danny: Wow! The swing is magic.

Peter and Danny play and play. They are happy. The garden is beautiful now. Giant is happy too.

二、教学目标

（一）、单元整体目标

1. 在The Giant’s Garden的故事情境中体验和学习单词slide, seesaw, swing，

能够正确认读和拼写。

2．

能正确理解特殊疑问句What can you see? What colour is it? 及其回答，并

在情景中进行运用。

3. 能用I can see… It’s… I can (do)…来简单描述slide, seesaw, swing的颜色

和神奇功能。

4. 通过感受和想象the magic garden，增强语言学习的乐趣，激发学生的想象

创设seesaw旁边的一棵magic tree能长出各种玩具食品的情景，激发学生学习的兴趣，进一步理解magic
