Analysis of teaching material：

《Mybody》是陕西旅游出版社三年级英语第二册第一单元。本套教材“集趣味性、生活性、实用性于一体，从听、说、读、唱、四个方面全面平衡的来逐步引导孩子入门”，书中的内容与生活息息相关，比较简单，课本也非常漂亮。对于一年级来说本学期主要还是以培养孩子们“听、说、读”的能力为主，另外着力于培养孩子学英语的兴趣。在老师由浅入深，寓教于乐的教学过程中，让孩子们在动脑、动手、动脑中享受学习英语的乐趣。本节课所学的是第一单元My Body中的两个单词：foot 和

hand。

Teaching aims:

Knowledge aims:

a.

To be able to read, say and understand the words: hand (hands) &foot (feet).

b.

To be able to grasp the two words and touch the body parts correctly.

Ability aims:

a.

To develop the students’ ability of listening, speaking and reading.

b.

To be able to use the words in our daily life.

Emotion aims:

a.

To increase the students’ interest on English learning.

b. To make the students have a good communication and cooperation with each other from game-teaching. The important and difficult points:

1.The importance points: the main words (hand (hands) &foot (feet))

2.The difficult points: the pronunciation of the new words. Teaching methods:

a. Task-based learning (Individual work, pair work and group work)

b. Student-centered teaching.

c. Multimedia computer assisted.

Learning methods:

1. Communicative approach.

2. Cooperative learning. Teaching Aids:

CAI, pictures, vocabulary cards, a doll Teaching conditions and resources（教学环境与资源准备）

将学生分为四个活动小组：Apple组、Pear组、Banana组和Orange组，利用学生喜爱的水果来分组，激发学生的良性竞争与合作意识。本节课所学单词

都配备头饰，以便更好的进行角色表演，-What’s your name？-My name is…

Teaching procedures:

Step I Warming up 1.

Greeting to each other. 2.

Chant and do the action. (Brush my teeth day and night.)

通过播放flash的方式，复习上课所学的单词词组。吸引学生的注意力，提高学生学习兴趣。

StepⅡ Revision 1.

Say the words through playing games. 2.

Look at the cards, and say the words. 3.

Look at the teacher, and say the words. 4.

Look at the picture of a boy’s head, and say the organs according to the numbers (1-9).

利用各种游戏及活动检查巩固单词。

StepⅢ Presentation &Practice 1. Introduce a friend to students, then lead in “hand”.

让学生观察图片的变化，并认真听，然后说出听到的内容，以及对词义的理解。体现出视听说的教学模式。

2. Get the class to read after the teacher several times with rising tone and falling tone.

在学生初步了解单词读音后，教师给学生纠音，以便学生能够准确地掌握单词的发音。

3.

Practice the word through playing games.

通过游戏操练单词，让学生在愉悦的环境下学习，提高学习兴趣。

4.

Lead in “foot”. Get the students to watch the picture carefully.

视听结合，解决新的信息。

5.

Get the students read after teacher many times with rising tone and falling tone.

在学生初步了解单词读音后，教师给学生纠音，以便学生能够准确地掌握单词的发音。

6.

Practice the word through playing games.

利用游戏，吸引学生注意力，巩固所学知识，让学生达到理解记忆单词。

StepⅣ Consolidation and extension 1. Get the class read together by layout on Bb.

观察图片所对应的单词，提高认读。

Have a series of activities to practice the words through CAI.

通过一系列活动，进一步巩固两个单词以及它们的复数形式。

Make conversations. -

通过在情景和语境中巩固新知，在表演对话的过程中体验语言的交际能力，达到学以致用的目的。

StepⅤ Homework

课后把今天所学身体部位指给爸爸妈妈或自己的小伙伴看，并用英语说出来。

让学生和自己的父母或者是伙伴在日常生活中进行交流，实现语言的生活化，实用化，增进彼此之间的感情。

课后小结与反思：

本堂课是一堂以单词教学为主的视听说课。在教学过程中全面执行“新课程理念”以学生为主体地位，全面激发学生的学习兴趣。本节课一开始我播放一个flash让学生跟着边做边说，flash里的动作夸张，很好地吸引了学生的眼球，一下子就调动了学生的积极性。每学一个单词都穿插了游戏，让学生乐于学、乐于说。根据学生喜欢表演的特点，在拓展部分设计了一个情景对话，让他们上台表演，他们都争先恐后地抢着来表演。如果时间允许能够让他们在下面先同桌之间进行练习的话效果可能更佳。本节课教学重点突出，主要学习两个新单词以及它们的复数形式，通过旧知突破难点，通过tooth—teeth的正迁移，指导学生有意识地思考，从foot—feet，引导学生自主学习。在以后的教学中还应加强自己的组织教学，提高自己的个人素质。
