本单元是学习西方国家万圣节、感恩节和圣诞节的相关知识。在学习了万圣节和感恩节之后，本文通过Sam 送Tingting 圣诞卡片的情景，了解学习有关圣诞节的相关知识。

教学反思：

本篇文章难度很大，所以一定要让学生提前预习，以减轻教学难度。课文第七句话又长又难理解，所以我设计了flash，不用过多的解释就能让学生一目了然。但中下等生对语篇的朗读还存在较大问题，在下节课再多花些时间让学生练习。
