本节课以一篇介绍英国资深魔幻小说女作家J.K. Rowling和她的著名作品Harry Potter的阅读文章为主线，使学生通过阅读了解作者的经历、小说的出炉以及对现实社会产生的影响和发展成功的过程。作为阅读课，旨在如何帮助学生通过泛读和精读来理解文章大意并能够完成相关练习。因此，教者根据该指导思想，整体规划文章，形象设计幻灯片，从导入到阅读，由浅至深，从理解到感悟，逐层递进，让学生从感兴趣到融入其中，渗透情感教育，同时不断进行阅读技巧训练，最终完成阅读任务。

二、教学背景分析

本模块以Fantasy Literature 为话题，旨在通过模块教学，使学生了解Fantasy Literature这一文学形式的特点和代表作，并提高对中外幻想文学的鉴赏力和文化素养。对于高二年级的学生，已经具备了一定的认知能力和理解能力，单词量的储备也有了一定的基础，因此，在合理的设计和适当的引导下顺利完成阅读并达到提升难度并不是很大。

本节课借助多媒体辅助教学，从学生感兴趣的话题导入，通过学生独立阅读，小组合作，思维探索等，基本完成了教学目标。该教学设计在4个班级实践过，有文科班、理科班、实验班和普通班，学生虽然学习基础和感悟知识的能力有所差别，但在老师不同程度的引导下，都能完成学习任务，有些同学甚至能较好地表达和阐述个人观点，因此，课堂设计较为成功。
