Unit 4 At the farm 第一课时

教学目标：

1.听、说、认、读农场里的蔬菜单词：tomato、potato、green beans、carrot 2．能根据实际情况进行简略的问答，如：What are they?/Are they…? 运用形容词描述不同蔬菜的特点

3.在语境中了解新单词的意思并能正确发音。

教学重难点：

教具准备：教学PPT、相应的单词卡片

教学过程：

一、Warm-up 围绕单词red做头脑风暴游戏

（课件出示）一只红色的钢笔，引导学生说出词组a red pen. 教师问：What else can be red?如：a red bag, a red apple…教师接着说：I know a kind of red vegetable . It’s round . It’s a little sour . What is it? Can you say it in Chinese? （生回答西红柿）

（课件出示西红柿图片）师说：Look! It’s a tomato.课件上出示不完整的单词t（）m（）t（）。请学生根据读音尝试填出所缺字母并朗读单词。

二、Presentation and practice 1.教师呈现一个西红柿的图片，问：What’s this?引导学生回答：It’s a tomato. 2.教师再次呈现一个西红柿的图片，问：What are these?引导学生回答：They are tomatoes.（提示tomato一词复数的变化，帮助学生理解It’s a tomato.和They are tomatoes.两个句子不同的含义）

3.教师出示红色西红柿图片，说They are tomatoes. They are red tomatoes. 4.教师出示黄色土豆图片，说They are potatoes. They are yellow potatoes. 5.呈现胡萝卜的图片，教学carrots,引导学生说They are so big! They are big carrots.

6.呈现豆角的图片，教学green beans,引导学生说They are so long! They are long green beans. 三、Consolidation and extension 1.教师将准备好的蔬菜卡片放在盒子里并盖好，然后走到学生中间，随意抽出里面的蔬菜卡片问：Are these …?并引导学生根据实际用Yes , they are./No , they aren’t.来进行回答，如果学生回答的是No , they aren’t.，教师要继续问：What are these?并引导学生用They are …回答。

2.教师请几个学生过来摸卡片，边摸边问：Are these …?/What are these?其他同学做出相应的回答。

四、Sum-up 1.猜谜语

教师说谜语，引导学生用Are they …?来猜一猜是什么蔬菜。

（1）They are red . They look like apples , but they aren’t apples . What are they? （2）They are tender and green . What are they? （3）They are long and orange . Rabbits like eating them. What are they? （4）They are yellow. French fries are made of them . What are they? （教师利用猜谜语的形式使学生对本课所学的新单词和简单句型进行运用和复习，达到巩固新课的目的）

2.Let’s chant 利用资源播放课本歌谣，使学生在唱歌谣的过程中再次巩固单词

五、Homewrok 课后试唱39面的歌谣给同学、朋友或者家长听。
