Teaching aims 1. Knowledge and skills objectives （1）使学生掌握制作雪人的过程。

2. Process and method objectives 通过经历堆雪人的认识过程，自主学习体验如何堆雪人并实践操作。

3. Emotional ,attitude and value orientation objectives 通过本课学习使学生有兴趣听、说英语，叙述一件事情，敢于开口，乐于模仿。在鼓励性评价中树立信心，在小组活动中积极参与合作，从而意识到交流对于学习英语的重要意义。

Teaching process

Step1 Warming up revision 1 Listen to an English song “little snowman”. 2 Free talk : 1) T: How many seasons are there in a year? S: There are four seasons. They are spring, summer, fall and winter. T: What season is it? Please spell them. 2) T: How’s the weather in spring/summer/fall/winter?

S: In spring, the weather is warm and rainy. In summer, the weather is hot and sunny. In fall, the weather is cool and windy. In winter, the weather is cold and snowy. 3)

T: I think everyone has a favourite season. My favourite season iswinter, I want to know what your fovourite season is. S1: My favourite season is summer. T: Why? S: Because I can swim in the river. Step 2 Presention and practice 1 T: It’s

November now. Winter is coming. It’s cold outside. But in winter it sometimes snows. Snow is beautiful. I like snow. I like winter. Winter is my favourite. What would you like to do in winter? Who likes to tell me? S1: I like to skate on the ice. I like to ski on the snow.
