一、教学内容

PEP Book 5 Recycle 2 P68 & P69 二、教学目标

1．能够听、说、认读读单词dark, wood, house, hallway, stair, cupboard。

2．能够听懂、会说句型There is… There are…并灵活运用。

3．能够在图片或关键词的提示下复述小故事并写自己的小故事。

4．能通过观察了解字母组合oo, ou, ow, ay, ai在单词中的发音规律。

五、教学步骤

Step 1 Warm-up & Revision 1.

Free talk (1)What’s in the big classroom? / What’s on the desk?... (呈现重点句型

There is a/an… There are …s.) (2)What’s on the screen?/ What’s your favourite storybook? (启动学生思维，引出主题“A story”，为故事呈现最铺垫) Step 2 Presentation 1.

Show Picture1of the story to present the new word “dark”. T: Today I’ll tell you a mysterious story. Look at the first picture and say. What’s in the picture? (教授dark, 通过park和farm来引导学生读) 2.

Learn the new words “house” and “wood” in Picture 1.

T: There is a dark house.(通过mouse, round引导学生读house) T: Where is the dark house? S1: It’s near the trees. T: Yes, these trees make up a wood. So the house is in the wood.(教授wood，通过book、good引导学生读) 呈现句子In a dark, dark wood there is a dark, dark house.(听读，带读，抽读) T: What’s in the dark house?(让学生先猜一猜，激起学生的好奇心同时引导学生发散思维。) 3.

Watch the video of the story.(整体感知故事的主要内容) 4.

Watch the video again and arrange the pictures of the story.. 5.

Read the story and choose the key words for each picture.. 6.

Learn Picture2-6 (1) Picture2: Present the key words “house”

“hallway” (通过ball tall say 引导学生读hallway).Show the sentence “And in the dark, dark house there is a dark, dark hallway.”

and let Ss listen and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. （同桌读，抽读）

(2) Picture3: Present the key words “hallway”

“stairs”(通过hair, chair 引导学生读stairs).呈现部分句子And in the dark, dark hallway让学生自己输出后半句。如学生犯错，就引导学生关注stairs这里复数；如学生能正确用”there are some dark, dark stairs”，.教师再强调there are some..句型.（通过从扶到放，目的是引导学生先尝试、体验，再强化巩固。）

(3) Picture4: Present the key words “stairs”

“room”让学生根据关键词自己输出句子。在这一过程中，学生会依据原有的知识经验来进行表达，如可能会说：And in / under /… the dark, dark stairs there is a dark, dark room.再让学生通过观察图片将正确的方位“down”引出。（强调down，抽读句子。通过这样的尝试，学生在错误中更好地体验、掌握了正确的表达，印象会更深刻。）

(4) Picture5: Present the key words “room”

“cupboard”(通过cup和board 引导学生读cupboard 强调发音).此时让学生自己输出And in the dark, dark room there is a dark, dark cupboard.已经水到渠成。

(5) Picture6: Present the key words “cupboard”

“box”.学生自己输出And in the dark, dark house there is a dark, dark hallway.（引导学生小组根据关键词来完成语言的表达，更好地体验到了成功的快乐。）

Read the story.

Listen carefully.—Listen and imitate.—Read by yourselves. Step 3 Practice & Consolidation

Number the words and retell the story (1) Number the words （Check the answers.）

(2) Retell the story. Let Ss retell the story according to the pictures and key words on the blackboard. T makes a sample first and then Ss retell the pictures one by one. 2.
