教学内容：Module 4 Unit11 Mother’s day第一课时

教材分析：本课时是第十一单元第一课时Look and learn 和Listen and say 的内容，要求掌握三个核心词汇，了解西方国家母亲节的文化，知道母亲节时可以送哪些礼物给妈妈。

教学重、难点：

重点：能听、说、读、写三个核心单词,以及句型What can I do for Mum? 难点：mum单独使用时，首字母应大写。

能用I have a good idea来表达自己突然想到一个好主意。

设计理念：

本节课我以学生已学过的语言为基础，同时借助多媒体，帮助学生突破重点，掌握难点。

教学目标：

知识目标：能听、说、读、写单词flower,photo,tea 能力目标：能熟练运用句型What can I do for Mum?。

情感目标：让学生初步了解如何在母亲节时向妈妈表达美好的祝愿和爱意。

课时安排：第一课时

教学准备：教学卡片、PPT、录音机

教学过程：

Step1.Warming up 1、Free talk(描述一下自己的妈妈) 自主空间：

T: How is your mom? What can your mom do?

S:My mother is _____.She is _____. She is _____.She can _____. She _______________. I love my mother. 2、Show a picture and discuss T: Look at Sally. Why does she give her flower? S: It’s Mum’s birthday. S: .......... T: It’s Mother’s Day.(板书课题)Mother’s Day is a day for mothers. Step2.Presentation T: Show a calendar. Mother’s day is in May, the second Sunday in May.五月的第二个星期天是母亲节。并简单介绍母亲节的来历。

T：On Mother’s day, we give our mothers a present and tell her we love her. 1.Learn new words

T：Show a picture of a flower. This is a flower(板书). F-L-O-W-E-R, flower.

母亲节的花叫carnation(康乃馨) S: read together. T: What else？Look, this is a photo. S: Photo P-H-O-T-O, photo(开火车读) T: Next, T-E-A, tea ★tea是不可数名词，需要加上量词词组“一杯”来形容数量。“a cup of tea”

3.Listen and think T: What does Peter think and say at first? S: 能为妈妈做什么？

S: read three times T: What else? S: Ah!突然想到一个好主意(出示课件) T: Ah! I have a good idea. Ss: I have a good idea.（say and read）

Step3.Learn the text. 1.Read after the tape 2、Role-play(两人一组角色扮演) 3.Choose and say对话练习(出示课件) It’s Mother’s Day.
