教学目标:
1.通过描述卡通人物的外貌特征,学习表示身体部位的新单词:head,body,arm,hand,leg,foot(feet)
2.能够运用学过的形容词big,small,long,short描述身体部位,能熟练运用句型I have a/two…My…is/are…向别人介绍自己的外貌特征。
教学重点及难点:
能够运用学过的形容词big,small,long,short描述身体部位,能熟练运用句型I have a/two…My…is/are…向别人介绍自己的外貌特征。
教学准备:PPT,卡通兔子,大头儿子
教学过程:
Step1:Warm up 1.Sing a song. 2.Play a game:Teacher says.(复习身体部位单词) Step2:Presentation 1.Lead in the topic:Funny cartoons Ask a question:Why do they laugh in this song? Students:Because the cartoons are funny. Show a cartoon rabbit,say:this is a cartoon rabbit.
2.Introduce a new friend:Beebo. 3.Learn the word:head. Circle out Beebo’s head,say:head,a head. Show a picture:The big head son and the small head father. Read:a big head and a small head. Describe Beebo’s head:I have a big head. 4.Learn the word:arm/arms two arms--two short / long arms--I have two short / long arms. Describe your arms and the cartoon rabbit’s arms. 5.Learn the other words about body parts just like this. 6.Read the words together for three times. 7.Read the text by yourself. 8.Listen to the recording,read after the recording. Step3.Practice 1.Show some cartoons,ask students to describe the cartoons. 2.Practice in pairs. 3.Describe a cartoon with students together.
4.Listen and write.Teacher describe the panda,students write the words. Step4.Summary Summary the key words and key sentences.
