复习准备

1. Review the language of last unit: “What can you hear? I can hear a ?”

T:What can you hear? S1:I can hear a train. T:What can you hear? S2:I can hear a bike. 2.Guess a riddle. It’s white.

Its eyes are red. Its ears are long. What is it?

Lead in: Do you want to see more animals? Let’s go to the zoo to see more animals. Today we’ll learn Unit 4 Animals in the zoo.

(教师模仿发出不同交通工具或动物的声音，一方面使复习生动有趣，另一

方面吸引学生对动物的关注，引出下面“看更多动物，去动物园”的教学内容。) 新知呈现

1.New words: lion,panda,elephant,tiger,monkey,bear.animal.zoo.strong.cute Teach new words by showing animal pictures. Ask students to pay attention to the pronunciation of elephants. After learning new words, ask students practice new words by guessing animals and listening to the sounds. 2.New language. T:今天不仅有许多可爱的动物来到了我们的课堂，还有几位可爱的卡通人物也来了，我们一起去看看吧。

(1)PPT shows two cartoon characters: “Kitty” and “Ben”.（教师通过展示课本Kitty和Ben的对话吸引学生学习新语言，在情境中帮助学生理解目标语言。）

1. PPT shows some information about other cartoon characters,then according to these information, make up and practice new language in pairs. （教师接着展示学过的其他的动物单词，还有水果、颜色、交通工具等，让学生以他们的身份去表达对事物的喜恶。）

2. Ask students to show their conversations. （在学生练习过几次以后，让学生结对编对话。练习由扶到放，让学生逐渐达到迁移语言知识的目标。另外，在设计课件时教师特意加入了所有新学动物单词，旨在让学生反复运用达到熟练掌握动物单词的目的。）
