Step1: Warming-up: 1)
Play a game.

T: I like reading books. I’m interested in listening to music. So my hobbies are reading books and listening to music. What are your hobbies?
Step2: Presentation: 1)
Show the pictures to the students and let them look at it and answer the questions.

The teacher points to the pictures and ask: What’s Micky’s hobby?

Listen to the tape again and answer the questions:

What is Peter interested in?
What does Kate like?
What does Li Yan enjoy?

Listen to the tape and read after it. Open the books and read the dialogue.
Step3: Practice: 1)
Let the students look at the pictures and listen to the tape. And act it.

Practice the dialogue in pairs.

Let the students talk about the hobbies in pairs.
