一、课题：

《Module 7My past life Unit3 Language in use.》是外研版《新标准》七年级英语下册第七模块第三单元的内容。

二、教材分析：

本模块以描述家乡与童年为话题，本单元是这个模块中的第三单元，是一节综合语言运用课。通过本单元的学习，引导学生掌握be 过去时（was, were）结构的一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及回答以及用它来表达过去的生活，从而引起学生童年生活的美好回忆。Around the world 介绍了南非前总统曼德拉的生平，拓展了学生的知识，开阔了学生的眼界，让学生在关注英美名人的同时，也注意了解世界各地的重要人物及人生经历。

三、学情分析：

通过本模块前两个单元对含有be (was, were)结构的一般过去时的学***部分学生已经能运用本结构来谈论自己的过去生活。本单元教师通过复习含有be (was, were)结构的一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及回答、通过师生对话、生生对话、总结归纳等语言实践活动来进一步强化本模块所学重点并完成语言学习任务。

四、教学目标: 1、语言知识目标

（1）话题：描述童年

（2）功能：能谈论同学的过去生活

（3）语法：复习含有be(was, were)的一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及肯否回答

（4）词汇：

复习词汇及短语：town , friendly,

nice, good, difficult,

be born, be bored, primary school, on the east coast of

掌握重点结构：Where were you born? I was born in …; When were you born? I was born on/in…

2、技能目标

（1）说：能掌握“be (was, were)”的一般过去时表达自己的过去生活。

（2）读：能读懂Around the world中有关介绍南非前总统曼德拉的生平的短文，获取细节信息

（3）写：能根据小组讨论过去的生活，写出同学的过去生活。

3、学习策略目标

通过小组合作的方式，学会合作学习

4、情感与态度目标

在教学过程中，学生们通过实践，体验与他人合作，谈论学生的童年生活，增进同学之间的了解，培养对生活的热爱。

五、教学重点：

能理解并正确使用“be （was, were）”表示一般过去时的肯定句、否定句、一般疑问句及肯定否定回答

六、教学难点：

综合所学词汇、短语，“be （was, were）”结构的一般过去时描述自己及同学的过去生活。

Step 1. Warming up

【设计意图】英文歌曲的选择符合本模块的关于过去生活的主题，学生在享受歌曲的同时自然地进入到本课的学习状态。

Step2 Activity4 T: This song is about life in the past , today we’ll learn Module7 Unit 3 Language in use.

First , let’s review some words and phrases. Boys read , girls translate.

T:Complete the sentences with correct form of the words and expressions by yourselves. Now check the answers in groups.

【设计意图】一堂课的成败在于到底有多少学生参与到课堂，通过对单词和短语的复习，独立完成活动4的练习，小组核对答案，提高学生的兴趣、积极性、参与性。

【设计意图】PPT展示Language in use 的句子，学生通过朗读总结本模块的语法（含有be动词was, were的一般过去时），通过活动3的练习，反馈学生对时态的掌握情况，学生对含有be动词was, were 的一般过去时的肯定、否定和一般疑问句获得进一步的巩固和运用。

Step 4.Around the world T: Most of the questions in Activity3 are about one’s past life, now , let’s learn about a famous person’s past life. Now , look at the screen , Who is he ? Do you know? S1:He is Nelson Mandela. T:Ok, let’s watch the video and know more about him. T: We have known more about him and now let’s read the passage of Around the world and try to answer the questions.(PPT) Check the answers together. 【设计意图】通过让学生观看有关曼德拉的视频，让学生进一步对他有所了解，对Around the world 的短文能更好地理解。
