II Revision. 1 Free talk:
-- How was your weekend? -- What did you do last weekend? 2 Look at some pictures and try to say some phrases about the pictures. III Listen and match. 1 The T asks the Ss to look at the pictures in Part A and encourages them to say something in English about the pictures. 2 The Ss listen and match. 3 The T corrects the answers. IV Read and write. 设计意图
让同学们边唱英语歌曲《昔日重现》边看他们一年级至今的图片,将同学们带回过去,让他们更深刻地体会“过去时”的运用。
通过看图复习词组,让同学们将今天所要用到的词组熟记于心,可以有效地降低本课学习的难度,增强同学们的自信心。
让同学们反复进行听力练习,以便提高同学们的听力水平。
1 Ask the Ss to look through the emails in Part B, and try to think about some questions. eg: (1)Who wrote an email to Jill? (2)Where is he now? (3)How was his weekend?
