教学设计说明

本单元围绕“季节、天气和节日”这一话题展开教学，在完成本单元的任务的同时，还应努力培养学生自我表达能力，发挥他们的想象力、创造力，使他们的个性得到张扬。

教材分析

本单元设计的是有关季节、天气和节日的话题，第41课介绍中国的节日，如何庆祝节日，激发他们进一步了解主要国家节日的兴趣。

第41课帮助学生了解中国的节日。这类话题容易被学生接受，所有乐意参与到教学当中来，主动积极的探究学习。

Lesson 41：holidays 教学目标

1、

能够掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇:present，international，national，festival，usually，during，mountain，climb。

2、

让学生了解一些有关中国的节日。

教学内容

1、

了解有关介绍中国节日的口语。

2、学习一些用于介绍节日的句子，如：

（1）

International

workers’ day is in May. （2）

We have Children’s day on June 1. （3）

Teachers’ Day is on September 10.

（4）

National Day is on October 1. （5）

New Year’s Day is on January 1. 3、熟练掌握数词用法。

重点难点

1、

掌握一些与节日有关的词汇:holiday, international, children, teacher, national, festival。

2、

激发学生兴趣，让学生了解中国传统节日。

3、

掌握以下重点句子：

The weather is cold and cloudy. （2）

We can play with our friends and get together with our families during holidays. （3）

And the Spring Festival is usually in January or February. （4）

本课主要涉及节日介绍的口语。在授课之前先让学生通过互联网及其他途径了解中国传统节日的情况。课上可让学生通过小组合作的形式相互交流；在此基础上，教师通过幻灯片、图片向学生展示一些节日活动的图片，并让学生简单了解它们的概况。

教学过程

Step 1:Lead­in

Show the pictures to the students. Let them guess：

What is the festival on September 10? 2、

When is Tree Planting Day in China? Let the students answer the questions in class. Step2:Listening

Listen to the tape and fill in the blanks with the correct words you hear. 1.It is ____20 today. 2.The Spring Festival is usually in _____ or_____ .

Finish the task in class orally. Step3:Reading

Read the dialogue and decide the following statements are true or false. 1.

International

Workers’ Day is on May 5. 2.

New Year’s Day is on January 1. Finish the task in class orally.

Step 4:Practice Work in groups and practice a dialogue. Then present it in front of the class. When they act, they can use their own words. Read the text again and find more questions about it.

S1: What do you like to do on New Year’s Day?

S1: Who wants to go to the zoo on Children’s Day? Step5:Activities

Suppose you want to introduce the holidays in China. But you don’t know what to do. How can you do? Ask your classmates for advice

Finish the task in groups. Then after a few minutes, let

some students act out their dialogues in front of the class.

Step 6；Come to“Let’s Do It!”

Match the Chinese holidays with the dates or months of Exercise 1. Listen to the tape and finish Exercise 4 in pairs. Step 7:Homework 1.

Finish Exercise 3 in“Let’ Do It!”. 2.

Finish the exercise in the activity book.

教学反思：

课堂上创新教与学方式，充分发挥教师的主导作用，最大限度地调动学生参与学习的积极性，引导学生在自主、合作、探究的有意义学习过程中，全身心投入，积极动脑、动口、动手，教学生学会学习，培养学生独立思考的能力，动手实践的能力和良好的学习习惯。同时优化教学策略，恰当灵活地运用有效的教学方法和手段，精讲精练，及时反馈、有效调控，切实提高教学活动实效。关注每一个有问题的学生，关注每一学生的问题。课堂上要做到放手但不放任，让学生自主却不自流，让学生全力以赴、全神贯注、全神投入，紧张而愉悦地学习。

本节课当中，我认为比较满意的地方是：运用多媒体提高了学生学习的兴趣，同时以小组合作的学习形式极大的提高了学生学习的积极性，也提高了课堂效率。
