1.Introduce the contents of this lesson

The structure of this lesson is divided into seven parts: teaching objectives; Leading-in; fast-reading; detailed reading; discussion; homework.

2.Show some pictures to students to present the topic of this lesson

Present the picture about some dangerous moments in the animal’s world, then introduce the theme- Survival of the Fittest

3.Teaching objectives

(1) Know the changes of working section.

(2) Learn what skills and qualities are needed.

(3) Try your best to get your dream job.

4.Leading-in Introduce the different jobs in the job market, that is to say, and know how to divide industries-primary industries, secondary industries and tertiary industries.

Let students analyze which industry develops rapidly and which one loses its popularity.

Set an example of myself who is a teacher and serve for the students. What I do for a job is service industry. Talk with them my ideas about today’s teaching demands and let them think about questions: what do their parents do to make money? Is it easy to work or make money in today's society?

5.Fast-reading (1)What does the text talk about? Changes the job market; skills &qualities we need; Job choice; salary and welfare

6.Detailed-reading (1)Fill the gaps with the a-f sentences. (Introduce the students the ways to choose the best answer) general idea &topic sentence; what-to-do sentence (start with a verb); Linking

words; sentences before&after

7.Summary Lead students to summarize the whole text. Draw a picture of the whole structure.

8.Discussion Imagine you become a designer someday, what qualities do you need to have?

9.Homework Write a passage to describe your dream job and how will you prepare for it.
