Unit 4 Part C Story time教学设计

内容分析：

PEP小学英语五下第三、四单元主要学习12个月份的名称以及序数词，主题为询问他人生日的日期和一些节日的日期。由于本课时教学内容为第四单元Part C Story time。通过阅读对话，理解对话内容，巩固本单元的核心语言，还能进行一定的语言拓展。

学情分析：

本课的教学对象为五年级学生，他们已具有初步的英语对话阅读体验，但对于对话的理解，学生仍停留在会读、能回答问题等方面，不能在既定的语言环境中进行故事的表演，并对故事中蕴含的道理不能深刻理解。

教学目标

1. 通过阅读趣味故事，复习巩固本单元所学语言，增加学生语言的输入。

2. 能够理解故事内容；能够朗读故事；能够表演故事；能够恰当运用故事中的语言。

3．理解故事中蕴含的道理： Practice makes perfect。

教学重难点

1. 重点是理解并表演故事。

2. 难点是理解句子:Will you...? Sorry, I can’t. Practice makes perfect. I want to practise my song. 教学准备

Read and think over the questions: 1) What can Zoom do with his friends on the holiday? (What pictures?) 2) Will Zoom do these things? 3) What does Zoom want to do? Why? 3. Understand the dialogue. Find the answers from the text, then read the dialogue in Picture 2 -4. T: The sing test will be on May 4th. Now Zoom is singing. Can he sing well now? How do you know that? Summary: Practice makes perfect. If at first you can’t succeed, try, try again.
