课时内容: Part B Let’s wrap it up

Part C Story time 课时分析: 本课时是人教版五年级下册第六单元第六课时，与前几课时紧密相连。围绕“本单元的语音、重点词汇和句型”展开。Let’s wrap it up复习和巩固本单元的核心语言，引导学生总结相关的语法知识。Story time复习巩固并拓展本单元所学的核心语言，激发学生阅读的兴趣，增强团队合作的意识。本课时是对前几课时重点知识的汇总，本课时的重点是语音的掌握和核心词汇、句型的综合运用。

本课时包括Let’s wrap it up 和Story time两个版块。Let’s wrap it up围绕本单元核心语言，呈现了三幅图和三道练习，学生能够小结相关的语法知识。Story time版块呈现的是Zoom 和Zip在看电影时不注意公共场合行为规范所引发的故事。故事阅读性强，趣味性强，涉及了我们的生活中常见的一些现象，能够激发学生阅读的兴趣。通过故事的学习，复习巩固并扩展现在进行时态和行为规范的语言。

本课时话题比较多，在设计本课教学过程时，

Let’s wrap it up.通过小组合作总结动词现在进行时态的结构和用法，培养学生的思维能力。Story time.充分利用教材设置的情境展开教学。

课时目标: （1）能够总结动词现在分词的结构和用法。

（2）能够理解并朗读故事内容，复习与巩固本单元重点语言。

（3）培养学生学习英语的兴趣，增强团队合作意识。

教学过程: Step 1.Warming up

1. Greeting T: Hi, everybody. Ss: Hi, Mr Wang. T: Nice to meet you again. Ss: Nice to meet you, too. T: It’s time for English. Are you ready?

Ss: Yes. We are ready.

2. Sing a song Play the song “School days”，sing it together. Step 2.Lead in and revision Present a picture with something covered, then add some sentences. Let them read these sentences londly, then guess where it is. E.g. a picture of a library. Talk quietly. Students are reading. Step 3.Presentation 1. Present a picture of a cinema, and review the stucture “Keep clean. Talk quietly. Be quiet” and so on.

T: Now, here is an exciting film for you. Let’s watch it, OK?

(1) T: Please be quiet! (Play the movie King Kong) The teacher points at the screen and ask students something about the gorilla. After several minutes, the teacher sum up: Yes, it’s so big and strong. It’s great. And it’s eating and playing with the girl. (2)T: Can you talk about the film in groups? The teacher can present some uncompleted sentences to help them finish the task. 2. Part C Story time (1) Show the pictures on the book. (2) Listen to the record with the following questions.

Who are they in the story? Where are they? What are they doing? (3) Discuss the questions with students. (4) Finish the task. (5) Play the recording and ask them to read together. Step 4.Consolidation. 1. Act and say. (1) Act the short story out. (2) Ask students to retell the story according to the material. 2. Let’s wrap it up.

(1) Show the pictures in the book, students describe what they are doing one by one. (2) Let them write the sentences down. 2. Show Time. Play a short video and review the present continuous tense. Ask students to say some sentences with the present continuous tense. Step5.Summary 1. Review the present continuous tense. 2. Review some sentences in the public.
