本课选自《义务教育教科书英语(精通)》,三年级起点,五年级上册第六单元。本册书共有6个单元,每单元6课,共36课。Lesson35是第六单元It’s a grapefruit.的语篇教学。本单元要求学生能够在真实的语境中运用所学内容并结合已学知识对水果、食品的特征及口感进行描述。并在购物、魔术表演、拼图竞猜游戏、歌谣、调查等真实情景、现实生活中初步运用语言,进行简单的日常交流。并能在游戏、竞赛、调查、绘画等活动中,培养学生敏锐的观察力、独立的思考能力、丰富的想象力和快速反应能力。能够养成不乱摘树上果实的良好品德,初步形成与同伴合作学习、乐于分享的学习习惯和良好品质。

本课是通过凯特兄妹和妈妈逛水果超市的场景,引出要学习的目标语言What are these?They’re longans. What are those? They’re lychees.通过师生之间、生生之间在水果超市购买水果等活动,激励学生主动感知、模仿、学习和体验,引导学生能够运用Can I have some grapes? Can we have some longans and lychees? Are they longans, too?等句型提出请求、进行询问,在真实语境中进行交际,养成有礼貌的好品质。本课的内容贴近学生生活和学习实际,有利于学生在比较接近实际的情境中进行听说训练,从而激发学生的学习兴趣。

五年级在小学英语中起着承上启下的作用,既是四年级的衍生,又是六年级的铺垫。学生要在以往掌握单词的基础上,学会运用句子,书写四会句子,写作文。有的学生由于基础差,所以对句子的掌握以及运用不熟练,不能把所学语言运用到实际的生活中,对英语不感兴趣、甚至厌学的情况。所以针对以上情况,教师在教学中应使课堂形式多样化,丰富课堂内容,使所学知识与生活实际相联系,形成有效的课堂教学。对于本课所学的句型以及有关水果的单词,学生们并不陌生,有些单词已经会读、会说,难度并不大。所以教师要鼓励学生多说、大敢说英语,提高学生对学习英语的热情,为今后的学习打下坚实的基础。

“以学生为本”是新课程标准下的教学理念。一个老师有什么样的教学理念就会产生什么样的教学行为。在教学中我主要采用任务型教学和情景式教学相结合。通过创设情境,使学生自然的融入到英语学习中。设计不同难度的活动,使不同层次的学生都能提高。教学

通过chant复习单词,为新知做铺垫。

以旧的知识tree导入本课要学的新单词longan。

在chant欢快的节奏中,再一次让学生注意区分单词的单数和复数同时复习本节课的单词。
