1. Warming-up 1)Sing the song. “Months of the year.” 2)Play a guessing game. 抽取三张卡片贴到黑板上，做猜卡片游戏。通过提问猜选中的卡片。

3) T拿出准备好的年历，ask Ss：Do you know what month goes after Februay? 引导学生从年历中找到三月March。教师板书：March Learning aims: Let’s talk about the third month and the fourth month,and the activities together. 2. Presentation 1）Look, listen and read by themselves. 展示教学挂图，指示挂图中的内容。

T：Do you know what months they are talking about? Please read by yourselves and find the names of the months The self-study guide: Look at the video carefully and try to understand Chinese meaning. Answer the questions:

What is the third month of the year? What can people do in March? When is Tree Planting Day in China? What do people do on Tree Planting Day? What is the fourth month of the year? What festival is in April? When is Easter? What do people do during Easter? 3) Open the books, let the students answer the questions. 4) Check the answers and let the students understand these: Everywhere, on that day, stop the sand on windy days, make the air clean, make the country greener, a week long, get colourful Easter eggs. 3. Practice 1）Play the tape, let the students listen and read follow the tape. 2）Read the text as different roles in groups. 3）Show their performance in different roles. 4)

Play a guessing game. 猜月份游戏。学生四人一组，每个小组发一张白纸，要求每组裁成四小张，每张写上1—4月的英文，然后把反面扣在桌上，学生一个一个来猜，每个学生猜一张，先说英语单词，再翻开卡片，看到单词再说一个句子。

Finish the activity book about the lesson. Extended activities 1）Finish the activity book. 2）查一查1～4月还有哪些节日，包括中国的和英语国家的常见节日，记录下来，并想办法弄清楚它们的英语说法。

Lesson 21 板书设计

本课继续学习与月份相关信息，我主要借助图片让学生们自主谈论节教日与活动，不仅加深了对所学知识的记忆，而且进一步帮助学生总结了有效地学习方法，之后，再自然引入本课短文的学习。

本课的操练环节我主要采取分层的形式进行，设计不同任务让学生们学自由选择，使得不同层次的学生都有不同层次的进步，让每个学生都能感反受到学习英语的乐趣。

不足之处：通过课堂检测练习，我发现个别学生节日与序数词的灵活思

运用稍有些欠缺，应再反复强调。
