Step1:Warm-up 1)Enjoy a song “Four seasons". 2)Look at the pictures and make new dialogues. T:Which season do you like best?

Ss:I like ... best.

Step2:Presentation Read and write 1)

Read this essay and answer the question. T:Which season does Robin like? Ss:... 2)

Listen to the tape and try to find out these reasons by themselves. T:Why does Robin like spring/ summer/ autumn/ winter? Can Robin swim? What can Robin see in the autumn? Ss:... (Fill in the blank by reading and explain this essay in details.) 3)

Listen to the tape and try to read. 4)

Read this essay and tick the right answer. 5)Let students read again and try to retell the text, fill in the blanks.

Then check their answers.

Step3:Practice

1)Write a letter to Robin, talk about your favourite

season. 2)Invite someone to read their own letter. 3)Introduce Miss Tan’s favourite season and enjoy these photos. 4)To educate students that A year's plan starts with spring;a day's plan starts with early morning.
