《My Hometown》教学设计

教学内容:粤人民版六年级上册英语Unit 4 Vocabulary(第47页)

教学目标:1. 以教材Unit 4 Vocabulary的词汇为依托,向学生介绍潮州文化,了解有关潮州美景、美食等人文信息,培养学生的文化品格,了解潮州创文前后的变化,让学生在学习过程中懂得要热爱环境,保持整洁;能用英语输出Jana去潮州旅游的语篇,达到用“用英语做事情”的目的。

通过引导学生归纳了解was / were使用的区别,培养学生的思维品质。

通过创设各种语境让学生多听多说,培养学生的语言和学习能力。

教学重点:以教材Unit 4 Vocabulary的词汇为依托,让学生介绍潮州的文化,了解潮州的美食、美景等人文信息,培养学生的文化品格,了解潮州创文前后的变化,懂得要热爱环境,保持整洁,从而达到用“用英语做事情”的目的。

教学难点:潮州文化背景;潮州景点、美食名称;用英语输出Jana去潮州旅游的语篇。

Stage 1: Warm-up and Leading-in. 1. Greeting. Hello! Children! I’m Miss Xu. I’m from Chunguang Primary School in Xiangqiao, Chaozhou.

What’s the weather like in Chaozhou today? (It’s rainy.)

What’s the T-shirt like today? (It’s wet.)

I was in Chaozhou last weekend. What was the weather like in Chaozhou last weekend? (It was sunny last weekend.)

What was the T-shirt like last weekend? (It was dry.)

It is usually sunny and warm in Chaozhou. The weather is nice. I like Chaozhou. 2. Number Game.

I have a good friend. She’s Jana. She likes Chaozhou. She likes games, too.

Today she has two games for you. The first one is Number Game.(启动点名软件)

If the number is 8. You should choose “dog”, “on the chair, before” to make a sentence.
