一、单元知识简介
本单元继续学习过去时,主要学习6个形容词和2个国家专有名词,句子Where were (was ) …? , What was ( were ) …like …?
二、学情分析
学生在U4已经学过一些形容词和句型What was ( were ) …like…? 及回答和were (was )的用法。. 三、教学目标
1.语言知识目标
学习四会单词good, bad , yucky , tasty , snow, spicy, Canada , Thailand 和四会句子Where were you yesterday ? I was in Canada . What was the food like ? It was tasty . 2.语言技能目标
通过说唱歌谣,做游戏,做调查报告,表演,比赛等多个环节,使学生在观察、判断、合作、自学、表演、竞争、创造、评价等多方面的能力得到发展和提高。
3.情感态度目标
培养学生浓厚的英语学习兴趣,挖掘学生的表演才能和实际应用语言的能力,给学生一个自我展示的舞台。
4.文化意识目标
通过本课学习,让学生体会到国地方食物味道如何。
四、教学重点与难点
1.教学重点
本节课重点学习四会单词、复习两组句型和学习对话,由于《开心学英语》的每一个对话都是一个小故事,所以通过对句型的学习,理解对话的意义,并能表演出来是本课的重点。
2.教学难点
通过对话的学习,能让学生学会灵活运用新知识,自己创设新的情景对话,又是本课的难点。另外,语法知识was ( were ) 的用法。
五、教法学法
根据本单元的教学内容,可采用活动教学法、情景教学法组织教学活动。
充分利用身边易找、易做之物,如单词卡,头饰,图片等,最大限度的调动学生学习的积极性。复习、引入、新授、扩展,层层递进,尽可能创造相宜的语言情境,鼓励学生的大胆创新,加强合作学习、合作表演,使学生在轻松愉悦的环境中学习、思维、应用。
六、课前准备
金太阳课件、图片、头饰、实物等。
七、教学过程
一、Greeting T: Good morning, boys and girls Ss: Good morning, Miss Yu. T: How are you today?
Ss: I am fine, thanks. And you? T: I am fine too. Do you know what day is it today? Ss: It’s Wednesday. T: Yes! And what’s the weather like today? Ss: It’s sunny/ warm / cool / cold.
