【Roles and logical relation of period one 第一课时作用及逻辑联系】：

Period one deals with the vocabulary and target sentence patterns of unit ten. It mainly talks about the different kinds of rooms in an apartment. And it requires students to ask and answer about a new house with sentence patterns “Will there be a/an…”“Yes, there will./ No, there won’t”.While students in grade five have learn the future tense in unit 9(What will the weather be like?),so it is natural for them to master the similar patterns in specific contexts. This period deals with the words and sentences by interesting activities and various forms. It also emphasizes and penetrates discourse teaching. This period lay a solid foundation for the other periods.

Step One: Creating Problems. (创设问题)（1--2分钟）

Free talk. What is the weather like today? What will the weather like tomorrow? What can you see in the screen? Can you tell me what is the title of Unit 10. 2.

Creation a situation: Look at my new house. Is it beautiful? Do you like it? Can you ask some questions about it？

【Purpose设计意图】：To warm up the class review the future tense by asking questions about tomorrow’s weather. By looking and asking questions about the picture , it is easy and natural for the teachers to introduce the new topic.

Step Two: Self-exploring. (自主探究)

1、Read the words loudly in your groups,and discuss where you can’t understand.

By doing different activities and playing games, students can learnt the target language step by step with fun.
