学情分析

本模块的学习主要是运用there are 对事物来进行描述。学生在前几个模块已经学习了用there is 来描述事物,并且也有了一定量的名词基础。但对于there are 句型和名词复数的运用,一些学生会有一定的困难,这就需要教师的逐层引导。

重点难点

1)听: 能听懂课文内容,能听懂含there be结构的句子。

2)说: 能用“There be…”结构谈论物品的数量与位置。

3)读: 能读懂课文,并能准确、流畅朗读课文。

4)写:能感知“there is, there are”。

活动1【导入】Warm up 评论

(一)Warming-up

Step 1: Sing a song with the actions. Old Macdonald

Step 2: Free talk

With the pictures, let the students try to say the sentences with “There is…”

【设计意图】歌曲既活跃了课堂气氛,又复习了动物类单词, 并且通过对话来复习there is 用法,为新知打下铺垫

活动2【讲授】Presentation 评论

Step 1: 由there is 直接过度到there are ,有图片提示引导学生说出there are …

Listen to the chant.

Try to guess the meaning of the word “some”. Make sentences with “some”.

Try to repeat the chant.

Step 2: Repeat and do the actions,then try to make a new sentences like that.

【设计意图】复习直接导入新知,通过chant,学习重点的句式。续接chant让学生能够在学习之后迅速加以运用,从而使得学生都能够很容易地掌握本课重点。Step 3: Listen and say.

从chant 的最后一句教师进行了修改,There are some monkeys, one two three. 导出课文内容。Mother panda and baby panda are at the zoo. Please listen what they are talking.

Step 4: Look and repeat

Step 5: Read in groups.

Step 6: Act the dialogue

Step 7: retell the dialogue.

【设计意图】听音模仿语音语调,让学生从小养成良好的朗读习惯。

活动3【练习】Practice 评论

教师请六位学生为一组,做一副动物园的画,并尝试用英语表达。There are 数词+颜色+…at the zoo.

然后请同学到前面汇报,将图粘在黑板上,并示范找不同,让学生练习一下,进行表达。在此基础上,在示范,要求学生说出There are three yellow monkeys. They are small. 并汇报。再拓展,描述教室里的物品,位置,数量及特征。

Step 4: 如此来描述教室里的物品或是房间里的物品。

【设计意图】学生在活动中既巩固了新知,也得到了运用。同时小组为单位,这样可以达到更多地学生参与活动的目的。小组竞赛的活动让学生们勇于参与,从而使得学生能够有团队的意识和精神。

活动4【活动】Production 评论

让学生以小组为单位自行认读歌词,教师播放两遍歌曲请会唱的学生起立唱歌。Learn to sing a song. At the zoo.
