一、课题:
新标准英语(一年级起点)五年级第九册
Module 8 ,Unit 1 children often sit around tables. 二、学习目标:
1、知识目标:
(1)能听、说、读、写单词:often、around、
line、
morning exercises、
miss、
start 、finish、
fun、half past.
(2)能听、说、读、运用词组:sit around tables 、sit in lines 、sing songs、
do morning exercises、
start (finish) school . (3)能听、说、读、运用句子:
A. In the UK,

We sit in lines in China.
C. They sing songs together every morning.
D. We do morning exercises.
2、能力目标:
(1)To compare school life in England with that in China.
(2)To talk about the difference in daily life.
3、情感目标:
(1)关注学生学习过程中的情感体验,通过相互合作、自主探讨,培养学生自信、乐观的个性和积极的学习态度。
(2)了解中西方文化的差异,拓展视野,培养学生的世界意识。
三、学习难点:
1、词组sit around tables 、sit in lines 、sing songs、
do morning exercises、
start (finish) school的说和读及exercises的发音。
2、谈论中西方学校生活及日常生活的区别。
四、设计理念:
1、面向全体学生。
2、依托课文情境进行教学。
3、充分进行文化渗透。

5、由易到难进行活动设计,让学生在愉快的氛围中从不同程度上得到提升,从而培养学生的综合语言运用能力,增强自信心。
五、学情分析:
所教的学生是从一年级开始学习英语的五年级学生,他们对英语学习有一定的兴趣,学生的英语口语能力和语言组织能力比较强,已经有了一定的英语思维能力,他们对自己的日常学习和生活有自己的理解和喜恶,因此他们在谈论学校和日常生活时有话可说,有感而发,而且学生在学习本节课之前已掌握了一些相关的单词和词组,本节课的主要任务是让学生如何运用已具备的技能、已知和新知的语言知识在真实或接近真实的语言环境中运用英语。

Introduce Lingling and Daming,learn to the first paragraph. (1)看屏幕,说出Lingling和Daming 两位主人公,tell the student:”Yesterday,Lingling wrote a letter to Daming.”
(2)提问:where is Lingling?(听磁带,并找出答案)
(3) Show PPT, answer question. (强调:写一封外国信件时,名字与地址的位置。) (4) Listen to the tape, and find the answer. T:What did lingling do yesterday? S: she went to Sam and Amy’s school.
S: she took some photos. 课后反思:如果在问题回答后全体齐读一下第一段,该环节将更具有价值。
