1、知识目标:

Vocabulary: strong, cute, bear, horse, lion; Sentence patterns: The monkey isn’t strong. Are they big? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.

They’re little and cute. 2、技能目标

a)可以使用所学形容词描述动物特征,在第一单元的基础上,开始用两个词描述同一个动物;They are little and cute. b) 可以使用问句询问某种动物是否具有某种特征:Are they big? c) 可以对Are they 开头的一般疑问句进行肯定和否定回答:Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t. 三、教学重点与难点:

重点: a)句型

Are they big? Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.及其拓展运用;

b)句型They’re little and cute.

难点: P36 chant “Zoo”

难点处理方式:用图片和动作的方式让学生理解和熟练朗读该韵律诗。

四、教学过程:

Watch the video. 5.

Read after the video. 6.

Chant.

Teacher read the chant;

Teacher read and do the action;

Students do the action with teacher.(×2/×3)

Students do the action in groups. 7.

Game. Guess the animals. Teacher choose an animal, students guess what it is by asking questions like “Are they big/tall?”

“Are they pigs?”. If the teacher answer “No, they aren’t.”
