Teaching Procedure: Step一、Greeting! Step二、Warming-up. Sing a song <>. Step三、New lesson: 1.

(PPT play ) Count the numbers from one to ten . 2. Lead- in : Teacher wears the headdress (Miss Cat),says: I am Miss Cat. I am happy today. Because today is my birthday. Look, this is my birthday cake. Let’s count the candles. Then learn the new word –nine. 3. (PPT show ) A chick. Ask one student to act out the

chick, and other students guess its age . Then learn the new word-one. 4.( PPT show) A dog. Teacher asks a boy to act out Mr Dog, says “Are you one?”

Then students guess his age. To teach the new word –five. 5. ( PPT show) A girl. Teaching the number –ten. 6. Practise the words. 7. Teaching the new sentence: How old are you ? 8. Pair-work. To ask and answer. 9. Let’s sing a song. Step四、Practise: 1.

Make up a dialogue. Teacher and one student. 2.

Group-work, then have a show. Step五、Summary.(Read together.) Step六、Emotional attitude and values: Young people should respect the old . Step七、Homework.
