a. Analysis of teaching material

The book is from People’s Education Press. The book includes Vocabulary, Reading,Writing, Speaking that can improve students’ English skills. The class which I am going to teach is Unit 5, TV Shows of Semester 1 Grade 5. Students learn more things about TV shows.

b. Analysis of students

My students are Grade 5 in primary school. They are interested in English learning. This unit is about their favourite TV shows, so students will be more interested in the new knowledge. They known basic words and sentences, but they still need to improve their ability.

I can review the words and ask students to make sentences to stimulate them. And my teaching procedures are complete to ensure that students can learn a lot about TV shows and improve their abilities. I can achieve my teaching aims.

In the meantime, I think I should design more active activities in this class. Students can learn better through interesting activities. The time in “Do a survey” is too long. I should shorten the time.
